Dubya, Bin Laden, and M. Moore

According to this article at Zap2it, Michael Moore's next documentary will be called Farenheit 911 and detail GWB's use of Sept. 11 and the war on terrorism to forward his agenda. On top of that it will "suggest that the business dealings between George Bush and Osama bin Laden's late father led to George W. Bush and Osama bin Laden becoming mortal enemies."

Oh brother.

And am I the only one who thought ""M. Moore"" in the thread title might''ve refered to Mandy Moore. Yes, I have a juvenile mind.

M. Moore doesn''t make documentaries. He was caught faking things for BFC.

Not that I dont believe you, cause I wouldn''t put it past him, but where did you hear about this, and what exactly did he fake? Id like to hear some more about it.

He''s done it in two Roger and Me and BFC. Here are the links:

thx for the links. Interesting read for sure. To me personally BFC was an entertaining movie and also a movie that makes you think. As I said somewhere else, the most striking moment in the movie was when the biggest freak alive said the most grounded and insightful statement in the whole movie :).
Whatever is false and wrong in his documentary. At that point Moore hits the nail on the head. The biggest failure in both our cultures is that we rather set our kids in front of a TV or console instead of actually listening to them. This sure is not true for everyone, but sadly for a great majority of the families.

I''ll be looking forward to his next movie. Can you say conspiracy theory incarnate ;).

My only problem with his next movie will be the nut cases that believe that he''s reporting the ""truth."" Moore hates Bush and is blinded by the hate and I can''t respect people like that. He''s like a male version of Ann Culture (not sure about the last name).

sorry for my ignorance, but who is Ann Culture? I never heard of her before.

Ann Coulter, the she-demon. Both she and Moore have earned a large following by baselessly blaming their opponents for everything that is wrong with humanity...

Ann: ""Parents, if you let your daughters listen to liberals, they''ll turn into coke-snorting whores who turn tricks for Democratic politicians!""

Moore: ""If you let your sons listen to conservatives, they''ll turn into fully-armed mass murderers who vote Republican!""

Very true, if everyone would just take it for what it is, thought provoking fictional entertainment, all would be right with the world. And Id have a flying car. About damn time.

Ann Coulter wants to go back to the stone age in regards to some social issues and sex in general.

She quotes sources that imply marraiges without premarital sex are more sucessful and less likely to get divorced.

While promoting abstinence with teenagers is a good thing, she is wants it to be the only option.

She doesnt realize the problem isn''t sex. The problem is confusing the powerful emotions surrounding sex with love. Getting married before having sex doesnt solve that.

Its the old analogy of performing surgery with a broadsword.

Ironic how such a looker could have such hang-ups about sex.

What''d you expect? I idolize naval aviators, for crying out loud!

And James Bond...

And Captain Kirk...

And the Fonz...

And Han Solo...

And Lando Calrissian...

Please any women who read this, dont take it the wrong way. This applies to her and a few other attractive staunch conservatives.

She is so infuriating I find myself stooping into the gutter and saying, ""She was hot till she openned her mouth.""

I know, I know string me up. I''m sorry.

I really wonder what gives with her? Is it vanity that has turned into a superiority complex? She would never stoop so low so anyone who does is a whore? Is her life and marraige not as great as she thinks? She has to keep convincing herself by taking a firm stance, bragging and insulting the less fortunate?

Ironic how such a looker could have such hang-ups about sex.

I hate to sound like a SA forum troll, but links to the sexy please? I have a hard time believing this.

I don''t know, nothing too great.

Yeah, and once she opens her mouth and spits her venom, it''s even less great. Once heard her suggest that any senator or congressman not in favor of invading Iraq should be tried for treason, and then she defended that position. You know, some protestors burn the American Flag, but I''m pretty sure she''d be much happier burning the Bill of Rights.

Of course she has to burn things. With zero body fat, she has to get heat somehow.

More fuel to the fire:

Mel Gibson''s Icon Productions is considering whether or not to handle the release of Farenheit 911.

I honestly think this will be a watershed film, probably the most talked about muck-raker film in history. Whether or not it''s grounded in fact, people will talk about it, people will form opinions, and those opinions will translate into action: demonstrations, arguments, angry talk-shows, lawsuits, and campaign fodder in 2004. Michael Moore will singlehandedly shape the next political cycle, even if his movie barely does half of what BfC did. Why? Because it''s about the biggest event in the past 50 years of American history and paints a sharp and drastically different picture of that event. It''d be like if somebody did a documentary in 1944 linking FDR to Hirohito and claiming that FDR capitalized on the tragedy of Pearl Harbor to launch a war against Germany (who had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor).

Note I didn''t say in which direction politics would go after this movie; that all depends on if people accept the message, and that all depends on this war ends (if it does by the time the movie is released).

I sure hope in future posts all the flame euphamisms go up in smoke.

While Moore will try to prove where there is smoke there is fire, I doubt his new project will ignite all the controversy you speculate Rat Boy.

You are making it sound as if the roof, the roof, the roof is on fire.
