I hope MS gets the deal in the end if they are interested that is. But who would not be interested in that division :).
No hay banda!
I agree, hope MS does snag that division. I only hope someone like EA doesn''t, not only do I find their CEO repellant, but after reading interviews with people that have left, say Richard Garriot, they really don''t have a clue to how development works, unless its a sport title, i.e. some minor changes and updating a few things, such that can be done in under a year.

I would like Blizzard to buy Blizzard. Does anyone know if Sierra owns Valve?

I disagree Ulairi. I think Blizzard should concentrate on making games. I think Blizzard shouldnt have to waste effort haggling their products and encouraging bidding wars among publishers. I think the best for them is a steady partnership with a stable publisher.
Being fangoriously devoured by a gelatinous monster.
But if they''re self-owned, they can actually make good games, instead of whatever flavor of the month their publishing house wants them to make. The developers don''t have to deal with the marketing and sales stuff, that''s what marketing and sales people are for. I think they could do much worse for themselves then being self-owned.
oh, and Valve isn''t owned by Sierra, as far as I can tell. It''s just that Sierra published Half-Life, which is pretty much the only thing Valve has ever done, except for a couple of Half-life add-ons.
