Intriguing letter regarding US foreign policy and Iraq

From The Project for the New American Century

Note the date of the letter, note the content, and now note the signators. I'll show you the highlights:

Richard L. Armitage - Deputy Secretary of State

Donald Rumsfeld - Secretary of Defense

Paul Wolfowitz - Deputy Secretary of Defense

R. James Woolsey - Former Director of Central Intelligence, now private businessman and commentator on cable news talk shows

Isn't this interesting? Back when the letter was written, the three secretaries mentioned above were in the private sector (OT: Rumsfeld was allegedly an investor in Nvidia) and members of conservative think-tank groups and political action agencies. The others on the list were/are members of these groups and at one time or another held positions in the Reagan and Bush Sr. administrations. It appears that once Armitage, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowitz were sworn in, war with Iraq was inevitable. In fact, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz suggested to President Bush (according to Bob Woodward's Bush at War) that Iraq would be a better alternative to America's first move in the War on Terrorism than Afghanistan.

Lookee what I found after some more digging. If you look at this page, you''ll see some more interesting names involved with this organization and this New World Order, such as:

Gary Bauer
Jeb Bush
Dick Cheney
Steve Forbes
Dan Quayle

Man, practically everbody EXCEPT George W. has their hand in this.

Choice quote:

Such a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity may not be fashionable today. But it is necessary if the United States is to build on the successes of this past century and to ensure our security and our greatness in the next.

The only thing concerns me, are the dates on the letters... ''97 and ''98! Three, four years before the whole shindig started...
