A Note On Forum Policy

I encourage our regular forum members to hit today's Daily Elysium. I talk a bit about the forums, and what we plan with them, and what we expect from those posting within. In short, we plan to take a _mildly_ more strict approach to moderating to ensure that as the forums grow, we keep the discussion both intelligent and lively.

- Elysium

A little moderation never hurts, and keeps the flow and feel of the forums better than unmoderated threads/comments.

I think (from reading the Daily Elysium) the basic rules/guidelines you guys are putting forward, are more common sense than anything.

of course, now I can''t post dirty messages in 1337 speak to Certis.

Big fan of the site. Love the tone, demographic, and the direction it''s going in. As I''ve gotten older and actually have a job that requires me to bust my ass all day and hold me accountable for my work, I don''t have time to scour the web for game news like I used to. I know you''re not a competitor for all of the other gaming news sites out there, but this has been a great site for me to get good info in the news section as well as the forums.

Not kissing butt, just speaking my mind.

Great job anyway, thanks for the extra moderating, we''re always in need for more authority

YES! it''s official no l33t speak! Good I hate that crapola!

Okay it''s fine if your in the middle of a deathmatch and can''t type quickly but if your on a forum the least you can do is show a little consideration.

After all doddery old geezers like me can''t keep up with all this modern l33t speak, now pass me my hearing horn, wind up the gramaphone machine and pass me my pipe and slippers, you young whippersnappers!

Yeah, I like the feel you guys have going as well. Glad to see the first little birthday for a site I hope has a long and prosperous life.

He, he he, as I''ve gotten older I find I discover even more ways than ever to hang out at my favorite sites while at the job!
