If you weren't able to get into OGRE as part of the Kickstarter, I'd recommend looking at Cool Stuff Inc. They got an allotment earlier this week, and are selling it for JUST $75. And if you hit $100 in your order, shipping is free.

But you will be missing out on a ton of chits that were only available as part of the Kickstarter edition, no canvas bag, no t-shirt, no pins, and no free copy of the $3 reprint of Pocket OGRE.

Which, of course, means you can always BUY those extras down the line. As a comparison, my FLGS is selling fully loaded Kickstarter editions for $300 a pop...

I'm so surprised the mech talk didn't bring up Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor.

If my intention cannot translate reliably into the game each and every time I make an input, I'm not playing a game. I'm fingerpainting. - Julian Murdoch, Gamers With Jobs

If I hear, "free if you have PS+" again I'm going to go postal. PS+ wasn't free. The games that come as part of the service are paid for by the membership fee. I understand it's the easiest way to convey the message, but sometimes, things cannot slide.

Well... yeah. I guess. I mean, if I have to qualify that every time I'll probably throw myself out the window. We all understand how a membership service works, right?

I know. And I get it. And it's everyone, not just you guys. But, I feel like if people got free games with their Xbox live service, people wouldn't say, "free with Xbox live." Almost like PS+ has elevated kudos from the gaming community.

Really, I just wanted to rant quickly about something that causes me to twitch once in a while.

You do get free games with XBox live. And they do say "Free with Xbox Live"

I think what Mukman is getting at is that its like saying you get free movies with Netflix. They are part of the subscription and you lose access to them when you quit. But yeah, I think everyone that goes through the effort to listen to gaming podcasts is informed enough to know what they mean.

Unfortunately they seem to be out of stock - time to check local game shops.

Also note to self - check Kickstarter more frequently.

I'd finally managed to wean myself off Pocket Planes, Tiny Tower and Pocket Trains.
And now I'm downloading Tiny Death Star.

I blame the GWJCC.

Instead of just complaining about it (I actually don't have a problem with it), I offer this suggestion: instead of saying the games are free with PS+, you say you get (free) access to the games with PS+?

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Nice shooting, son. What's your name?

It is exactly robot-qwop. Look it up. It's amazing.

I had to kill Allen Cook because he made a mistake. Now it's time to erase that mistake.

Conference Call crew,

Thank you ever so much for combining documentary-creativity with the effort to actually pull it off! The historical reenactment vignettes were a fine satire of the rest of the industry and simultaneously a tribute to almost every pre-WWII military documentary. The music, the writing...wondfully spot on! Do not be afraid to go silly and create more tidbits like these.

Absolutely. These were marvelous.

Not sure how true this is, but I thought this was relevant with the discussion about PS4 not having DLNA. I think support is coming.

See, now I know I complicated something that doesn't need to be complicated. I feel guilty, and a little evil pride at the same time.

Honestly, I've been listening to a lot of podcasts and everyone says it. These are people that are smarter and more well-spoken than I am. So if that's how they choose to explain a game you get on PS+ without additional purchase in short-hand, I have to accept that.

Also typecasting: Julian as the grizzled war vet, and Corey as the damsel in waiting

More silly stuff like this please!

Absolutely, that was hilarious!

They're out of stock - for now. Sign up for the preorder for the next round, because you will not find it for less than $100 at a FLGS.

From what i understand, things work differently for PSN+ games and XBox Live games. The PSN+ games you have access to as long as you pay for a subscription to PSN+. The XBox Live games, on the other hand, are yours to keep and do not require a subscription once you have downloaded them.

Ooooh, so THAT'S why they're always five years old and filling the USED section at a GameStop like no one's business.
