I'm glad I'm not the only one who instantly thought of Planescape: Torment when that soundtrack email was read. Everyone once in a while, Deionarra's theme cycles through on the iPod when I'm driving, and it always makes me sad.

Also, I guess I should just pony up and get on this Journey bandwagon. It's been mocking me from PSN for far too long.

And you've just made MY night. Thanks so much for listening, and for your thoughts, and mostly, for your work on amazing thing that now means very much to me.

The love extends to the whole, crew BTW. I don't mind that Journey doesn't suit most of your tastes, that's fine. But you all are the most thoughtful (and thought-provoking) gamers I have the pleasure of listening to. Serious thanks for the great podcast.

Oh, just admit you are really Snadzies_McSnadz. You aren't fooling me!

For what it's worth, the spoiler section for Journey is the thing that has gotten me the closest to picking up a PS3. None of the other exclusives has, but this review almost did. If it wasn't for the need to repair the van, buy a new computer to replace mine that died and repairs to the house, it would have been a no-brainer.

Foiled by technology again! Not sure why my tags don't seem to be rendering correctly.

It's a function of your status as a 'coffee grinder' - basically it's a protection against spambots - a few more posts, and your links'll be good to go

Elysium:
I'm actually working on something much more gamey for now. There was a great opportunity for me at The Behemoth, so I'm kicking some ass there for now. I can't wait to see what this turns into!

Demiurge:
Still love you <3
(If anything, shame makes you more likable)

BNice:
Thanks for the tip, but I don't think I can handle reading through. I think I need to just keep moving on and think about what's coming up next.

KaterinLHC:
I'm so glad! When I first heard that you and Karla played through together, I thought 'Oh no!' My ideal play experience is in an empty room, and I think I got a little possessive.

mudbunny:
Haha, that's so strange to me. I don't think I would buy a PS3 for this game. But after playing Journey 3-5 times a week for 3 years, my perspective on it is probably a little skewed.

**EDIT**
I guess I can't use quotes because I'm a forum nub/spambot. reformatted.

It does that to all coffee grinders as spam protection. Keep posting and it'll go away. Don't sweat it.

I'll admit, I'm sitting in front of my PS3 staring at Journey's buy screen right now. All the conversation has me interested, but I feel like I might not even be ready for the game now. Eventually, I'll have to play.

You can play it my place Boo Boo Bear. We'll hold your head and rock you to sleep afterwards.

I return after beating Journey in one sitting (and excited to see that one of its devs has been posting here).

I'm gonna need some time to let that one sink in, but I think it might be one of those special games that come around once or twice in a decade. The ones that worm their way into the back of my mind and never really leave. Planescape: Torment. Shadow of the Colossus. Stuff like that. And I know I sound like a drooling exaggerator, but I'm pretty sure it's true.

"That was more acceptable in your family. To LARP as a Druid". Thanks for putting a doofy smile on my face at work guys

Rabbit, can you confirm the meetup time for PAX East? At the end of the show you said Friday at 5:30, but the thread here says Saturday at 5:30.

It's Saturday. I think Julian forgot his dried frog pills before the show.

I've finally registered account after about 3 years of listening because Rabbit, Lara, and Karla just about brought me to tears during my walk to work yesterday….Sorry if I come off as rambling. It's just really overwhelming and rewarding to hear such positive words.

Trying to think of another gaming forum or forum in general where the posts went from asshatness to appreciation and good vibes. Can’ t think of any.

+1 reason why this community rocks.

That was CORY who said it was Friday. CORY.

Of course, there's a reasonable chance I might be at that bar on FRIDAY at that time too.

Aren't the elders supposed to keep the youngins in line, Pops?

Thank you, TGC.

The last few months have really taken the shine off my favorite hobby. Season passes, DRM, annualized sequels, petitions to change endings, tacked-on multiplayer, stupid collectors editions, used game sales, etc, etc, etc.

Last night, I should have gone to bed. I'm running on about four hours of sleep lately. I have a huge freelance project to get done. Instead I bought, downloaded, and played the entirety of Journey. I'm so glad I did.

This game has soul and artistry. It removes all of the garbage and anxiety of playing with other people. It is a focused, beautiful, affirming experience.

I actually managed to play with the same person for my entire game; one sitting. That only made the end more satisfying.

Please make more games like this, I need them.

Best trade ever.

Thanks for your work on Journey, it was an excellent game and I'm planning on playing it again next month.

You guys hear that bus that Julian just threw me under? Sounds big.

Nonsense. When one of you says something, you all collectively say it. You're the CC as a body and you all only have one opinion and one voice. Now we just need to tell Elysium that he likes JRPGs. It doesn't seem like he got the memo on that one.

I've got a 3 day pass to PAX East and can easily procure a case or two of Corona and a spare DS. I think that's a big enough memo right?

We may have been sitting on the same couch, but there was pretty much zero conversation. Only a couple of glances at one another to make sure that I wasn't the only one crying.

Thank you so much for your comment, and thank you and the rest of the team so much for Journey.

Great CC as usual. The spoiler section caused me to play through Journey again. I saw new things the second time through that weren't even mentioned on the podcast. Great game Monkokio.

The best mental image of the podcast was imagining filling the 1000 seat theater with cardboard standees for your talk this week at PAX East. I'm imagining Zach Galifianakis and 3 hobo Muppets heckling you guys during the show

I'd be thrilled to have Muppets in the audience.

It's the most sensational, inspirational, muppetational podcast!

I wish had friends that where cool and played Journey. I have so much to say about my experience with it. It was a very powerful experience for me. Thank you, Monkokio, the work of you and your team means so much.

We've got this whole website full of potential friends for you to talk with.

I'm a guy who usually scoffs at video game soundtracks, but I remember the Myth soundtrack being really good.
