Woo-woo! Two of my questions on one show! And from just a lowly intern.

Fun show guys. Had a great time watching the video feeds and chatting with folks during the event. Such a fun community! Keep up the good work.

Party games worth mentioning:
WarioWare: Mega Party Games for GC
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
Worms Armageddon on PS1
Point Blank 3 tournaments
Twisted Metal Black
Calling All Cars
8-player bomberman

I'd type more, but I'm using my damn phone to write this on the bus.

Gotta say Jonathan did a great job editing the podcast, though I personally miss the one drunk phone call, but alas.

Naked Twister? Why didn't I think of that?

Next time, I'll put something in the yard for you... but I don't know Rat Boy. Can you play Naked Twister by yourself?

I don't want to jinx them but I don't believe Blizzard has every out hyped themselves.

They have immense hype and they have yet to fail to either meet or exceed it when the game is released.

I was trying to remember if the phrase "King of Gay Buffalo" showed up on the mic. Wow, I was drunk.

We all were.

Just finished listening to it, and Jonathan did a fantastic job with that show, so congrats to him. I miss the Seattle call too, but really the best part of that was rabbit "losing" the call.

Edit: I also miss the reactions to the penis drawings.

The entire unedited run is up at the Livestream channel here

I came in to mention this.
As far as YDKJ:

On 16 June 2008, it was leaked that You Don't Know Jack is all but confirmed for a new release on the Nintendo Wii video game system. While no date has been released, a price of $40 was part of the leak. During the June 17th 2010 podcast on Giantbomb.com, Cookie announced that YDKJ will return to the Wii, PS3, and the Xbox 360, partnering with THQ to develop it. While the host is unknown, it will most likely be Cookie since he said in the podcast he was "working on the game for the past three months". On October 25, 2010, it was announced the Xbox 360 version would include support for Microsoft's Kinect. According to GameStop, the current release date is January 25, 2011.

At least I now know the origins of the Twitter Dick Storm of '10.

It's all Certis' fault.

Can next year's International S&T be held in Second Life? I'll bring my flying penis.

I think that Fallout New Vegas' "emerge from the vault" moment will be when you enter New Vegas for the first time. Fallout 3 had the vault with grey, metal corridors you've seen before. Fallout New Vegas has the brown wasteland you've seen before. I think going from brown waste to the neon strip will be quite a contrast, especially if you blow into town at night.

It was nice to be able to hear the second half of the podcast. At the NoVA/DC S&T, we were listening live, but we quickly devolved into drunken banter around the end of the first hour of the podcast. Not that that was a bad thing.

Listening to the call-in portion of the podcast now, and it feels like listening to an audio-only version of Dick Clark's Rockin' NYE.

Rob's call hit the spot. Pre-ordered Rock Band 3 for my husband and prepaid for the Mad Catz guitar for him too for his b.day. At the midnight release he arrived to pick up game and guitar - only came home with the game. Disappointment hit an all time high on the gaming front for us concerning Harmonix and how they are releasing, or not, the peripherals with this game. What he really wants is the Squire Strat' but was prepared to use the button guitar in the meantime. We're not sure of the marketing strategy behind this, and I agree with Rob, it's going to frustrate and confuse a lot of eager folks to get started. There was a total choke on any information about the guitars on the web, and now we hear the Mad Catz guitar does not come out until mid November sometime. I play drums and have been looking on the Ion website for the double kick expansion kit to go pro on drums, it's been unavailable for months. It weird. It feels like a vortex. It feels like the man at work. Thanks for calling in Rob, we hear you. It's a plot! Our RB3 sits on the shelf, uninstalled and we've decided to ignore it, for now. Sad face.

I think there's a good reason Harmonix has been endeavoring to get out of the peripherals market. Part of it is a money thing, but also they just aren't that great at releasing product. Peripheral product problems have really plagued every release of a core RB game.

Which is why it's such a bummer that they split from RedOctane, because say what you will about the bizarre twists and turns the Guitar Hero software has taken, the GH hardware is still uniformly excellent. In fact, I know several people who will always buy the Rock Band software in its standalone form so that they can pair it up with the GH instruments.

(If I could spare the money, I'd do the same, but I'm poor so I'm still using my RB1 set for everything.)

"He moves through the space like Greased Lightning." That is what you call "dating yourself."

Sean, Elysium and Julian are like the Goodfellas of gaming. Just don't ask any of them to get their shine box.

For parties, Rock Band appeals to everyone, although at least one person needs to bring a credit card to ride on that train. Little Big Planet is great for hysterical drunken laughter.

"Will it still work with Corey sitting on my lap?" Ha!

When I heard about drawing penises, for a second I thought it was draw as in drawing a sword from a sheath. Woops.

I am not sure how stomping on my balls will make me like anything. Although you can bet there is a website about that somewhere out there.

..Where do I find the pictures off the p***s-off?

Yeah inquiring minds want to know. I guess this is the problem with listening to the podcasts out of order and with a month delay built in - you miss all the silly and weird that adds that certain magic.
