I'm still waiting for Cory and Michael to appear in the same show and get confused between the two of them.

I object to this podcast on the grounds that there's not enough me.

(Welcome home Cory.)

Arg. It won't download, stuck at 79kb. At this rate I'll have to listen to NPR while working.

Finally got it. And finishing it + a roadblock means I'm finished with work for the day. Huzzah! As an aside, why'd you save the audio email for a point where Rabbit, the only one of you specifically mentioned was out?

Good show though. Too short! I demand more length, possibly more width, definitely more girth.

I, too, noticed the lack of Rabbit.

This podcast tastes so young and impudent!

Son and Dad gaming: Civ IV or Civilization Revolution for the 360.

My brothers (ages 45 and 46), my Dad (age 69) and me (age 36) have been playing Civ III and Civ IV together for years. My Dad is not much for the consoles, but Civilization Revolution is probably the one thing that can really grab him.

I'm pretty sure that this only the second podcast this year with Cory in it. I was pretty sure you guys just killed him and replaced him with Michael Zenke. I'm glad to hear that that's not the case.

I'm sure you already listen to it, but the iFanboy podcast is brilliant for comics. I've picked up so many new series from those guys.

If a game doesn't give me the option to play with non-inverted controls (just about all games do these days, thankfully) I have to write the game off. I couldn't play a game with inverted controls if my life depended on it.

We want more Rabbit!!!11

I can't believe you used my music. That about made my day.

You realize this will only encourage me, right?

My cat was sitting on the couch beside me while I was listening and that music freaked her right out. It was hilarious!

Freaked Out Cat would be an excellent band name.

Cory Banks is my favorite Cory.

Seriously though, he is right in his choices, and I need to check out Long Halloween myself... and Cory, feel no shame concerning Sandman, it was groundbreaking despite the fact that death-nerds love it (to death).

Ely's not coming to GenCon? Would it help if I grew a beard?

I heard "building my deck" and immediately thought Certis was getting into Magic: The Gathering. What does that say about me?

//Awwwww... I want a job like Rabbit/Elysium.

I first set my Dad up with Civ IV and he enjoyed that, so on my last visit home I set him up with a 360 and Civ Revolution. We tried our first online game over the weekend and he seemed to enjoy it as well. I'm hoping this will be a good gateway game to other games we could play online (for example some of the XBLA strategy games).

Who doesn't?

No, it's true; my epic plans to attend Gen-Con this year have evaporated like the morning dew on a desert cactus.

I tell you what: The email shows to me and forgive me if this sounds rude, seems to be when GWJ shines the most, because topics can come from nowhere and it does raise very good issues which are then discussed in a great way: Like people talking over drinks in the pub.

That and I suppose we mere mortals get more of a look-in Keep it up fellas!

PS I missed rabbit.
PPS Welcome back Cory! I do have to ask: where have you been all this time? Aside from banging chicks that is.

First Fallout 3! Now THIS! That's it, I'm moving!

Concerning televised gaming, I don't think you guys have talked about Starcraft in Korea? It's huge in Korea!

Freak Out the Cat would be a cool flash game.

At the risk of being regional, I can say pretty strongly that I don't really have much care what is popular in Korea. It seems pretty evident that Korea is operating in some kind of alternative dimension of gaming that has very little connection with the rest of the world, or at least the Western portion of it where my attention is focused. That's not to say that Korea has no influence in gaming, but that the popular winds of Korea don't translate well into predicting local trends.

What Elysium is trying to say is that he doesn't like Koreans.

I think I may have missed reading one of the slightly angry emails about Australia in this show. I'll make sure we get it in the next one.

Elysium you bastard! Buffy season 8 is great! And I'm a man. I swear!

*chews some more bark*

I have to agree with this statement in spite of the fact that I'm flat-out jealous of the pervasity of gaming culture in Korea.

Thanks for editing it, Rob. My instinct is to wish that it were longer, but you occasionally deserve a break.

Geez,

Ely doesn't like Koreans. Rabbit doesn't like Japanese people. Has anyone put in a bid on the Laotians yet? (I'm betting Demiurge, and I don't know why)

He'd rather not talk about it, and I can't divulge medical records.
