Also, I just noticed that the podcast made Blue's News today. I don't know what the capacity of your host is but that could be why it was getting hammered so hard. You guys are gettin' famous.

It's no wonder. They've been knocking it out of the park lately with the guests they're hosting.

You guys need to land John Riccitiello for the next attempt at a live show. Come on, I dare you.

Certis had a one night fling with me and Army of Two, and then never called.

You knew what this was.

I'm afraid I have to side with the Team Fremont guys on Professor Layton -- I finished it the other day and I really enjoyed it. The puzzles were entertaining, the presentation was wonderful, and the story had a certain ridiculous charm to it. You rarely get much story between puzzles though, so I can't help by liken it to a porn movie, because whenever you meet someone or start a conversation, you just know exactly what you'll be doing for the next five minutes.

Not much of a dare, I already tried. Let's just say I was lucky to get ANY time (for a recent article). They weren't exactly non-responsive, but I don't think a languorous podcast interview was in the works.

Congratulations Elysium

Nice show again folks, getting Blair to come on was great - two great dev chats in two shows now - keep it up!

Congrats Elysium! Is this the first?

Yeah, but did you have to charge $4300 for it?

Great podcast! You guys seem to be getting better every week, and have had one excellent guest after another. You deserve all the kudos, no question.

I'm kind of surprised by this. With the way that opinion has turned re:EA around here, it's not like he'd have a hostile audience or anything.

Loved the show. I really enjoyed how down to earth the Ironclad dev was and it was both interesting and a bit shocking to me that only nine guys worked on a title that looks and plays vastly greater than some "triple AAA" games have in the past. Keep up the good work! Oh yeah... about that Halo 3 tourney; who makes the decision on the players? I think someone should start a thread concerning getting your stats posted so we can choose the team and mop the floor with these guys.

P.S.: How could I forget? Congratulations Elysium!

Just because *I'm* not a hostile audience...

Like I said, I don't think it had anything to do with not wanting to spend time with ME, I think it's just not spending a ton of time with someone other than the Wall Street Journal or Strauss Zelnick's lawyers.

RE: NHL 08 -
Certis, I'd be down with playing whenever, although I can't promise I'll be much more of a challenge then your brother - just got the game myself. Can't add you to my friends list, though, you're all full.

I cleared a space and dropped you an invite!

On an unrelated note, there must have been some kind of glitch, Certis. It says we're not XBL friends any more.

Yet another great podcast! I love it when you guys have actual developers on. It's always cool hearing their insights on gaming. I also dig the way you guys talk with guests - it's never an "interview" with the guest, but they stay for the whole show and it's more of a conversation. And it turns out more interesting and informative than most interviews that just feel like PR events.

And congrats, Elysium!

Congrats, Elysium. Great clip Momgamer! I was crying while listening to it.

Another great podcast guys...I really enjoy them.
Did I miss the "Games for Soldiers" follow-up?

Congrats Elysium! You will quickly learn that DS gaming is about all you're going to be able to get in for the next few years!

Rabbit, Clubhouse Games for the DS has chess in it, along with 41 other awesome board games.
