I'd be more excited about Unreal Engine 4 if CliffyB hadn't said he wants to get the console developers to build machines that render cinema level computer graphics.

Because if there's anything the industry needs right now, it's higher budgets.

I didn't realize they rushed out a teaser trailer for Copernicus. And I wasn't that impressed with it. Looked like more Amalur, which is fine, but it needed more anti-aliasing if you ask me.

Amalur was a generic action fantasy world already. Not sure how an MMO is going to work better in that world. Maybe if it was an action style thing like Tera?

Thank You Jonathan:)

They had some good artwork in Reckoning. But, yes, a lot of it was your typical fantasy tropes with a few cool things.

As far as the MMO ... based on its development window (and the fact that Mr. Schilling is a WoW fanatic) I expect this to be another WoW-clone with perhaps a twist here and there. Will it have the action combat system that Reckoning had? Probably not as Reckoning was an acquisition that they fit into their existing world, so my assumption is that Copernicus is going to be nothing new and spectacular. Sorry 38 Studios.
