If you've been procrastinating on donating to the site, now is the time! The doors close tomorrow at midnight and after that we won't open them again for a year. No forum icon, no chance to win awesome prizes or to support your internet home away from home that you visit at work. Free consoles, Steam shopping sprees, Magic cards and even a custom golden icon could be yours! Hit this page for details on how to donate.
We will be posting a final donor list soon and you'll have plenty of time to get on there before we do the big prize draw next month. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the support. Sean and I have both been through a lot over the past nine years but the future of GWJ has never been in doubt. We feel a great deal of responsibility for making sure what we're doing here is worth your hard-earned dollars and more importantly, your precious time on this earth. I'm so proud of all the gatherings, game nights and personal support you've all built within and around our little ecosystem here. Thanks for continuing to inspire us to keep at it!

I certainly appreciate your appreciation of our appreciation. Keep up the good work! GWJ is a true e-oasis.

When are we going to get stock options after your planned IPO?

Hey, I appreciate that.

Would an 'in before the lock!' comment be appropriate?
One full month of anticipation...
were we supposed to get any kind of reply after emailing?

I'm fairly certain Elysium is still plowing through his inbox updating. If it's anything like last year you will suddenly see a shiny new tag under your name
892 condescending Certis quotes out of a possible infinity - Elysium scores Torchlight lower than expected.

Unfortunately, in most cases I can not individually respond to each e-mail. If you do not have your icon and see your name in the next donation list, however, please do let me know and I will respond at that time.

Your cushion looks so comfy....
It's easy to play piano: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time.
My paycheck came in on the same day as twitter informed me the donation drive was coming to an end. Coincidence? I think not... Anyway, donation done, now gimme the prize!

Same. I may not be active in the community but the Conference Call always brightens my Wednesday. Thanks!

Nice animated gif!
an inspiring quote to fill this spot:
"Our words are free now it's a feeling you can't explain"...." Born as we are out of the revolution to be free. " Barak Obama in Noy Alooshe's remix
Totally. That is a new favorite of mine now!

Um, by the time I heard the final reminder on the podcast, it was October 1
... and for the last two years I kept promising I'd donate. Maybe 2012 will be the charm?
Hope you like the welcome pamphlets and complimentary suicide capsule. They come in handy when you contemplate your procrastination levels and lack of productivity whilst refreshing forum pages.

yeah, about that, is there no "show unread posts since last visit" or something similar? I guess I have become spoiled by SMF.

That will list the threads that have new posts since your last visit. Just click on the "## New" link in the Replies column and it will take you to the first new post in that thread since you last visited it.
The Konami Code taught me everything I need to know about sex.
Upper left - 'Recent posts' will do the same.
I think that's more just a chronological list of last-updated.
Some people use their own tracking (http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/user/#...), which only tracks threads you've posted in.
Words... are a big deal.
Jill Lapore wrote:Editing is one of the great inventions of civilization.
True, but it shows two tabs. One with the all news posts and then the tracker.
Just wanted to give the other option as well, that's all.
They're the same thing, the 'Recent posts' link is http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/tracker.
The Konami Code taught me everything I need to know about sex.
Thank you all, that definitely helps.
Now i wonder if the other feature from SMF that I like is in here, and that is seeing what members are online right now and what other members are viewing the thread you are viewing.
