Gravity Pods

Gravity Pods lets you moonlight as an aerophysicist, steering spaceborne projectiles toward their spherical destinations. In the game's early levels you'll merely alter the trajectories of the tiny ships you launch, taking into account obstacles and the pull of one of more gravitational pods. After you complete level 10, you'll be dragging and dropping the pods themselves to negotiate even more difficult environments.

It's simple, elegant, and engaging. Once you get a feel for the pods' gravitational effects, you'll be slingshotting around them like a NASA engineer. Gravity Pods relies heavily on trial and error but still manages to stay fresh and enjoyable from one level to the next.

This is very cool so far. Makes me wish I'd had Flash back in 96 when I was creating my solar system gravity simulator. In Java. IMAGE(http://rps.net/QS/Images/Smilies/yuck.gif)

Gets very difficult when you have to choose where to place the gravity pods. I don't enjoy the trial and error part of it. I'm stuck and I know I'll get it eventually but the fun has turned to frustration pretty quickly.

Sweet. Good time waster.

Fire two shots on successful trajectories. As soon as the first shot hits the target, click the next level button. Your second shot will continue its trajectory in the next level, affected by gravity/repel spots which are no longer there.

That is some serious no f7ck1ng around gravity.

Stick a gravity point inside a repel point and the gravity point wins.

Is 20 the highest level available? It started over for me, but some of the challenges seem different the 2nd time round.

I'm on level 38. Oof.

Just got to 40. Just... no.

Level 50 is a sick and twisted level. I was only able to beat it after turning to the dark side and

bouncing the projectile directly off repellers.

40 is a whore.
I have been soooooo close.

I managed to get past 40 and a few after that. The moving walls really make it annoying.

I tend to send my little ships into a hopeless orbit.

I'm loving this so far. Good to see all that time I spent playing orbiter hasn't gone to waste.

There are 50 levels, Level 20 might be where you get repelers instead of gravity wells.

That game was a great time sink for me. It was even fun trying to beat it a second time.

I'm excited that the game I suggested got picked... yay

I'm contemplating using a whiteboard marker on my monitor to beat level 40...

I can't get the page to load :(.

I'm a big fan of this. Reminds me of a game on the Archimedes called Spheres of Chaos, which was a bit like asteroids but with the gravity wells.

I suck at this game. Level 14

On 44. The moving walls reeeaaally drag the game out in an unfun manner.

Edit: I managed to beat 47 by hitting the "next level" button before all my shots on 46 had hit. The shot carried over and immediately hit the level 47 target.

Cheater!!

Heh. I didn't do it on purpose.

I made it to 50 on my own, but then I was stumped. Using Stone's solution as a start I was able to do it with 4 unused objects (my solution).

I love and hate you for turning me onto this game

Wow, great game. I made it past level 40 today, and barely did 50. It turned out to be quite convoluted. (Here)

Stopped at lvl 32. I tried it over and over again but could never get it right.
