Oh glorious gaming greatness, your bounty is truly, um, bountiful. I know many of you are wondering how you'll be able to afford all the games you want to play, and I remind you that selling body fluids can be fun and profitable! Some of you also may be curious with all these great games as to what stupid row boat simulator I'm going to pick as the Game of the Week instead of a legitimate title. Well, friends, I have no intention of frustrating you this week, though there's quite a selection to choose from, including Neverwinter Nights 2, Need for Speed Carbon, Lumines II and Children of Mana on the DS. But, of the many worth games, this week's Game of the Week is Final Fantasy XII.

Wait... FFXII this week! Dang... I already used my card for FEAR.

I <3 all the ' of Mana' games. Even the really weird ones. It's a shame I already spent my extraneous budget and more this month. Grrrr!

I finally got my NWN2 preorder! Here's hoping it is as awsome as it should be

Nothing for me until next week.. and then it's a downhill battle with my wallet until the end of the year

I had a squad of hit men standing by in case FF12 didn't get the love it deserved this week. I'm relieved to know that I can safely call them off.

I have to point out what may be the under the radar title with the highest game joy to dollar ratio this week: Drive to Survive. This is being listed at a 9.99 price point, and could be fantastic:

Coming out for PS2 and Xbox. Multiplayer goodness.

Yay for Hajime no Ippo games! Victorious Boxers and FF12 for me.

NWN2 is going to be great!!

I'm torn between picking up FIFA this week, or waiting a week to get Gears of War.

What with Guitar Hero II out next week and the Wii two weeks after that I'm just gonna have to pass on Final Fantasy XII for a few... months. I's gonna be one dead broke puppy from now until after Christmas.

Can't wait to revisit the tactics universe! I need my FFXII.

Wait. FIFA's not half-bad, but getting it later won't kill you unless you're dying for your Footy Fix.

My wallet will begin it's journey to the dark side tomorrow morning at 10am when I pick up my copies of FFXII and Need for Speed Carbon.

I expect it to hold us all in it's rusty but iron fist by March or so when Assasin's Creed hits the stands.

All hail our new leathery overlord!

How did you get it so early?

No idea, but someone needs to join the gnome's and my quest of murdering Stylez.

I loved Hajime no Ippo the anime.
Victorious Boxers (1) was among the worst games I have ever played and owned. I can't say anything about #2, but it's not a video game franchise I would support. Just putting that out there.

FFXII for me. I'm tempted to pick up a DS just for Children of Mana, but I'll probably just pass it and wait for Dawn of Mana. I was thinking about NFS Carbon, but the more I see of it, the more I feel pretty 'meh' about it.

I don't understand how anyone has any hopes for it at all after the absolutely abysmal demo.

I'd buy Most Wanted over again at it's cheaper price before I bothered with Carbon.

Does he mean his preorder box with tools code or the full game?

I'm pretty interested in the Crystal Chronicals coming out for the Revolution. I wonder if they've fixed the annoyances and general messiness of the first game.

Carbon's not for me. It's for my car junkie younger son.

I get FFXII.

Next week I get Gears of War and GHII. Then it hits the fan on the 19th.

Children of Mana: Looks pretty ! Oh wait, it's a typical bug-eyed child fantasy JRPG.
Need for Speed Carbon: Could this be the first good racing game for the DS ? Likely not, but I'll wait to see a review.
Battlezone: Oh yay ! Oh wait, it's not the great and wondrously epic Activision game of the same title, but a generic flying tank gimmick action game.
Dungeon Siege: Wireless Internet Diablo in the palm of my hand ? Could be interesting.
GTA: Please die, brand.
Killzone: This PSP game got great reviews, and from the videos I still don't understand why. It looks like a generic 3rd person shooter with good graphics.
Sims 2 Pets: Jack of all pets, master of scary-ass pet models (in DS version at least).
Neverwinter Nights 2: I liked the isometric 3rd person perspective of the first game, and I don't see why they had to change it. The camera mode it has now doesn't seem suitable for this sort of game.
Ultima Online 9th anniversary: Is this thing STILL locked in 640x480 ? Didn't they upgrade to 3D models ?
Secret Files: Tunguska: A point and click adventure game ?

Should have clarified. I just got my preo...
