September 4th - 9th

Labor Day has come and gone, which means that a cool chill is on the evening breeze, college football is back on the television like a violent and dear friend, and everytime I wear white someone will remind me how gauche it is to do so after that particular holiday. Here's hoping that friends, family, and fellowship didn't interfere too much with the important business of gaming, and that you were able to tear yourself from the endless tedium of loved-ones who wanted nothing more than to spend just a few moments of your life together, and get to the real business of saving the world from evil in its variety of digital forms.

This week I award my first PSP Game of the Week to Loco Roco, a game that the more enterprising PSP owner has already played in full, possessed as they are with an astounding knowledge of asian gaming, importing, and region-free portable systems. For those who have not, like myself, word on the street is good.

I hope it's the latter.

I'll wait for GWJ Impressions on Test Drive Unlimited... if all is good, I'll be joining in.

Shot out of the former, and, while still in mid-air, shot with the latter.

Secret Files: Tunguska is getting some very positive buzz from adventure sites. There's an English demo here along with copies at Worth Playing and 3D Gamers. Here is a review of the German version.

Yeah, I like that. Let's organize!

Nobody for Yakuza? I've only heard good things and it looks to fill my craving for the Japanese underworld.

Test Drive Ulimited shipped yesterday, I should hopefully have it today. Looks like a racing adventure of Herbie Goes Bananas proportions.

3 Great Games for Girls? That can't be good.

Well, it could be good.. in a very perverted way.
