This is Gamers With Jobs Radio, the videogaming podcast that you can download for free. Amazing! This week, Russ and Shawn talk about Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Shawn's played it. Russ has played it. They've both played it. And they're going to talk about it. There's also some other news, but really, who cares? They've got Oblivion, and they're playing it. You're lucky they even bothered to record the show at all.

Cant wait to hear this one, downloading now!

Love the shows. Thanks and keep them coming gents!

Glad I could contribute somewhat to the show this week. Also, I always knew Certis liked to suck on the balls.

Oblivion is now one of my favorite RPGs ever!

Sweet, something to listen to when I come home from my daily obligations... although the obvious massive amount of Oblivion talk is only going to make me hate my computer/lack of XBox 360 even more.

But hey, I'll always have my Morrowind to play with its delicious graphical fanmods.

Congrats on the 360 Fletch. You owe someone a reacharound. Or.. maybe a drink. I'm not sure which.

Good show again as always

This is the best podcast about gaming that I listen to. I look forward to it every week. It always, without fail, makes me laugh out loud while driving to work. I'm sure I look a little weird laughing and driving with no one else in the vehicle, but who cares? Keep up the great work, guys.

Fletch, gratz on your 360, now you can play G.R.A.W. the way it was meant to be played provided you can put Oblivion down long enough.

Certis: "I have injested some balls... Baaaalls... Little somethin' special... I'm not going to do it on my own... just strikes me as a little sad, but for an event where it's me and a bunch of people gonna be staying up late, y'know? I'll go for some balls, why not? ...I'm big on suffering... Go for the balls."

The music after Fletcher's initial rundown of the show kicks royal ass.

I bet that f*cking PS2 is now gathering dust like the relic it is, eh Fletch?

Good show guys and congrats on your '360 Fletcher.

I imagine listening to this Oblivion-laden podcast is a lot like how heroin addicts feel about Methadone. It helps ease the withdrawal symptoms but doesn't quite keep you from longing for the real thing.

Chum

[edit]Umm, yeah, so I'm guessing that there aren't a ton of people out there with addictions to strong-protagonist type women. Oh the shame.

So goddamn true.

Oh man, that hurts.

my first post!

great show as always. lucky my copy of oblivion came in the post the same day as i listed to the show otherwise i think i would have blown a gasket.

ps: i wish i knew a not so anonymous donator like that. all i ever get are anonymous donations of extra work to do....

I think I know who the mysterious Santa Clause is. Sir, I salute you! I was wondering what was going on Fletch, I saw you playing Oblivion and I was thinking you might have managed to wrassle it into your old Xbox and got it playing through brute force alone.

And again, mysterious stranger, thank you for putting a smile on Fletcher's face and a shiny sword in his hand.

:drink:

Agreed. I've got some guesses too, but the important thing is that there is an incredibly awesome person in our midst, whoever it may be.

I think it was the...

Dell box it came in that gave it away. That being said, it's definitely aliens.. or Wayne Brady.

Yup. Awesome aliens.

Let me join in on all the Oblivion humping.

My PC is hooked up to my LCD HDTV that we keep in our bedroom and even though I'm too busy to play it most days the computer remains in there because it's just so awesome on a big screen. Because it's in there and shutdown, waiting for the next Oblivion fix, I connected my PDA via wifi to the site and downlaoded the show directly to it, sans a computer. I was able to listen to the show on the way into work and in my cubicle this morning. Technology is so great. They should really add wifi to the the iPod. Anyways, great show.

Can't wait to hump some more Oblivion.

Whoever the mysterious benefactor is, you're awesome.

Who do I have to to get a free 360?

Good show. I listened to it at work and it made me want to be home with oblivion so bad that I probably stared at my screen for maybe a quarter-hour.. By the way, does anyone else hear shawn cutting out every so often?

O RLMENTE?

Our connection was a little wonky that night. Only through the miracle of Skype were we able to record at all

Great show (as usual). I think that the mysterious benefactor realized that if GWJ radio was going to last, the host had to be able to correctly do all his research. Now that Fletcher has both a PS2 and a 360 (and an antiquated PC), it ensures the show will last for another 4-5 years (at least).

Just to check I downloaded some of the other "gaming" podcasts on Itunes and man did they ever suck ass.. There was this one that was just simply awful and not in the funny awful way..

The one "host" rambled on about how the 360 was hacked finally and in his muttering and mumbles basically said that you can now download copies of games and play them legally on your 360.. wtf?

So anyway.. nice job..

Great podcast guys, I too have been sucked into the beautiful world of Tamriel as well.. What can I say, it looks like that TTWO stock is going to pick up a bit with Oblivion being as great as it is!

Oh yeah, also, you guys were saying that you get distracted by ruins and other dungeon delving opportunities when walking around the landscape on the way to a quest.. I felt the same way, however I handle it by simply going close enough to the ruins or oblivion gates for them to be added to my map, so I can fast travel to them at a later date. Works like a charm!

Anyways, I've been away from Oblivion for long enough, time to get back to picking some mushrooms!

Fletch, I have a great link for you.

Anyone else think Fletcher sounds extra cheery?
