June 27th to July 3rd

There's a real odd assortment of PC games coming out this week, in some ways it's a perfect snapshot of where the PC scene is at these days. We've got a couple console ports, two puzzle games, an adventure game and some crazy looking low-tech RTS game from a Dutch developer. Is this a bad thing? I'll leave that answer up to you, mainly because I'm not sure yet. I'm going to call the Game of the Week Cloven Crania Meadow mainly because it's Dutch and I really want someone to buy it and write a review.

Thank God nothing is coming out this week that interests me! I would have been interested in Midnight Club for the PSP, but the videos I've seen look terrible! I'll pass...

You can say that again!

Sorry that was pretty bad. Looking forward to meteos, it is killing in the reviews. Looks to be a pretty wild puzzler for the DS. Riviera for the GBA might be worthwhile too.

Hmm, I've never heard of "meteos". I think I've heard of one called muhTAYos though.

I'm so tempted to try Cloven Crania Meadow just because the title is so wacky. We'll see. My game time has been 100% absorbed by PSP Hot Shots Golf and WoW for so many months now, it's not even funny.

Bard's Tale has been very much an on again, off again thing for me, but I think I'll pick it up anyway even though the console reviews were disappointing.

Haven't heard anything about Mee-Tee-Os but since the buzz appears to be very good, I'll have to check it out.

I got the UK edition of the Sacred expansion in the mail last week and am dying to fire that up and try out another character. If only I had about 10 more hours in my days....

You hear that Lobo? He's calling you out!

There's been a demo of CCM floating around since mid-May (according to Gamer's Hell anyway) but I haven't tried it myself. Maybe after work...

I'm actually looking forward to the next Gundam game. I played the hell out of Federation vs. Zeon and a demo version of the new game showed it to be everything the original was and more!

Of course, since I have no access to my PS2 right now it may have to wait till after Christmas....

Certis only "calls me out" when he's feeling particularly lonely. Lonely... and frisky.

Pretty slow week really. Which might be a good thing.

I have my Firefly DVD set showing up this week, and of course there's still plenty of Battlefield 2 to play.
