May 23rd to 29th

Pardon the late update today, it's actually a holiday here in Canada and I was out celebrating my wedding anniversary. Oh, Karla was there too. We've got a few more E3 articles to write and images to upload this week so you can look forward to a bit more there. Not much going on the gaming front for actual releases this week but the Metal Slug 4 & 5 pack on the PS2 looks pretty cool!

About time Season 2 came out. I need to practice my Samuel L. Jackson beer ad.

Happy anniversary!

"Classified: The Sentinel Crisis"?

Wow. I cannot remember the last time a game was released at a $14.99 price point. If I was that the head of that game's dev team there would be a lot of dudes falling on their swords this week.

No idea as to the quality of the game, but it is a Take Two company. Global Star is in charge of the "cheaper" games.

In addition to original content, Global Star Software manages the jewel case and value compilation business for all Take-Two PC products. Global Star Software is headquartered in Manhattan and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.

Grats! Ding - another level! Woot!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

Looks like a might lite week for me which is fine considering I just laid down $2500 for an HDTV and HD DVR. That's okay, the wifey has to talk to me eventually...

Pfft, talk only gets in the way of the 7.1 sound system. Actually it doesn't due to the pure power of the system.

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (05/23)

Woah, wait... what?

Where the hell did this come from?!

*takes off his PJ pants and gets ready to walk to EB*

Demo, strolling naked to buy your video games isn't going to help us as a community in any way. "News at 11: Nakie man buys video games... only a matter of time before he kills us all!"

Happy anniversary! By the way, statistically, the fourth year is the worst for divorce, so in a few years, BEWARE!

I saw that Fire Emblem game-- it's had pretty good reviews, but I never got around to the first Fire Emblem, which I'd kind of like to hit first...

A good start to your training you have.

Happy anniversary!

What's Hidden Stroke II? A parody on Sudden Strike?

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Doesn't seem like it's been a year since we got hitched, that's for sure.

I just had my 4th Wedding Anniversary on the 17th...

went by very quick.

Oops. Reading over my post, I realize that I wrote it pretty poorly. What I meant is the period between your fourth and fifth anniversaries has the highest incidence of divorce. Look out!

For my part, year one was a little rocky largely due to work making me impossible to live with, but two through six have been great. People still ask if we're newlyweds...

Edit: By the way, congrats on the milestone, Guru!

Well, my 25th birthday was on May 21st, so you can use that as an excuse to celebrate all week! =D

Airwolf on DVD? I loved that show when I was a kid, until I realized they were using the same 6 helicopter clips and just editing them in different ways for each show. They must have blown up that black bad guy helicopter a hundred times. And what the hell is wrong with Jan Michael Vincent's eyes?

Haha, same for me. When I got to see the series for the first time I was like "Whoa, they're blowing up real helicopters in each episode!"

I loved Airwolf too. They stopped doing it because a stunt guy got killed on a shoot, and Vincent freaked out over it. Probably rightly so, actually. I mean, entertainment is not worth anybody's life. Still, I miss it.

I'm in for that DVD.

Indeed! I'll buy it. Icing on that cake is I get to prove to everyone I know that the show did, in fact, exist. Now I just need DVDs for Covington Cross and Scorch and my ha-ha trifecta will be complete.
