Donation Drive Update

Wow. You guys rock! 90+ donations later the drive has been overwhelming for us so far! Big congradulations to DrJones for winning the WoW beta account, sounds like he's having a good time with it. We will continue to accept Paypal/mailed donations until the 31st of this month and then we'll be drawing for all those awesome games and the grand prize computer system. All that information is right here.

Read on for a full list of all the donors so far! If you're not on this list or you don't have a key when you should let me know post haste. Include your Paypal email and full name so we can avoid any confusion. Thanks for all the support and good luck to everyone in the draw!

Why not use something along the lines of a Cafepress.com for T-shirts and mugs? From what I gather you just upload the graphic to be placed on the items and they just make them as they're purchased. I guess the downside is you'd only be making a slight profit on the sales.. but atleast people could get their damn coffee mugs since so many people seem to be up and arms about it..

Didn't you hear? Cafe Press is run by the devil and orphan children print the shirts. It's very sad and so very wrong.

Since we appreciate/buy everything else that is made of children (in development countries) I don't see how this makes a difference. - It's cheap - right?

(sorry for adding some P&C to this)

It's been so long since I posted on this site that 1) I had to go through the forgotten password recovery process so I could log in, and 2) since my two posts were so long ago that I can't pull them up now, I have to post again so I can keep checking back for the key as confirmation. Should I also expect an e-mail response at my PayPal e-mail address to confirm my donation? I would've thought that would happen pretty quickly.

Btw, I used to hear "sh*t hot" occasionally back in the midwest (Ohio). This was more than 12 years ago so maybe it fell out of style and is making a comeback.

Edit: Already got the key. Entry for badass PC confirmed.

I think that pursuant to Code of Federal Regulation 56.129(b), it's use is now officially limited to Tom Clancy and people who read Tom Clancy.

Mateo,
I didn't see a comment box, and believe me I was looking for one.
The only options I had on the first page were the amount to donate, a space to enter my PP account name and PW, clicked submit. Went to some confirmation thing and a checkbox for the address confirmation, which I told it was not needed (since I am not recieving an actual item), clicked submit and the order was done.

When I hit "other" in Paypal, it gave me the same shipping dialogue, with a comment box on the bottom.

So I basically used that sapce to plead poverty. Elysium wasn't havin' it, though. Told me that unless I coughed up more dough, I'd be on diaper patrol.

You've been warned.

as someone who ordered 2 of the mugs I don't think that there is that much demand for them. Only 30 of them got ordered, including my 2.

Anyone add more to their donations this week, or am I the only one?
