GWJ Shirts & Mugs Now Ready for Order!

Section:

It's been a long time coming but we've finally found a company we feel comfortable with handling the official Gamers With Jobs swag! You wanted mugs? We give you the best mug ever created since God first thought them up. You wanted t-shirts? We have created a t-shirt which brings the sexy stylishness of Stan along with the hilarity of Sway's Space Invaders comic. It's doesn't get any better than this folks!

Read more for all the information you need on cost, shipping and our future plans!

For prices and ordering, hit the main Hyperion Press GWJ page for all the info. The t-shirt comes in both a regular version and a babydoll tee for the ladies. The shirts are $16 dollars US each and are 100% cotton heavyweight Fruit of the Looms which are preshrunk and machine washable. In terms of shipping, 1 to 3 items will cost you $4.95 in the states, $5.95 in Canada. You can get more detailed info on international shipping and larger orders at Hyperion's FAQ.

There is a catch.

Hyperion offers high-quality stuff and being a smaller company (ie: not Cafe Press) they need to guarantee a certain amount of orders before they can produce and ship the merchandise. In this case we need fifty pre-orders on the mugs and fifty pre-orders on the t-shirts and baby-doll tee's combined. If for some crazy reason we don't meet the pre-order quota within a month anyone who ordered will get their money refunded, no problem. That said, I'm sure each of you will buy five shirts and twelve mugs so everything will be fine! After the initial quota is reached, shirts will be made as needed until interest dries up.

Hyperion Press is fairly new to the online selling biz (they've only operated at a local level previously) and they got started by hooking up with VG Cats and handling their swag. Being new and growing, they're the perfect fit for GWJ since we're growing pretty quickly ourselves. They offer almost anything you can imagine from hats to yoyos so in the future we'll look at adding some more stuff as we grow.

That's all for now, we hope you like the new stuff and wear it with pride!

Just ordered one mug and one shirt. Nice look - I love the comic. Every Naval Officer needs a good coffee mug (even if they dont normally drink coffee). Ordering web site was organized pretty well and I was in and out in a few mins. What a great idea.

I'll go for a t-shirt and mug. Just have to wait for new credit card to be delivered.

I want a coffee mug!

Just how big is XL? Would love to purchase a t-shirt but am bit leary of buying a t-shirt that may not fit my body size of which is at the absolute maximum of 36 inches in diameter.:D

Over here in Malaysia I tend to purchase XL & XXL t-shirts. Help anyone?

I'm sure to get a t-shirt.

Any chance of getting these as a polo shirt? I would love to wear one of these are work.

The minimum fifty pre-order thing means probably not right away, we'll be looking into a run of some more "work friendly" sort of shirts later down the line.

Why, oh why are you making me choose between a GWJ tee and Krug?

Krug?

I like the Space Inveders comic, but how about other once? Even the IL banner would of look cool on the shirt. The banner i'm refering to is the one that had Quake logo titled, Your secret is safe with us or something along the lines.

Like I said, we'll get to other designs once we know we can move 50 of any given shirt. We didn't want to do a bunch of designs and have none made because everyone choose something different!

Hmm... got it!

Hey what about those kool Swedish, slick mouse padz? The ones with the Chevy Chase type lubricant tape to put on the bottom of your mouse (a miscellaneous item you got at E3 that you almost threw away).

Nice! That t-shirt will look really hot with my signature series GWJ leather chaps and matching handbag.

But do I really need another coffee mug? ...Why, yes, I think I do!

Coffee just tastes better in a GWJ mug. It's because we've asked them to all be lined with bourbon!

Ur shipping seems pretty high for a shirt... standard UPs costs more then the shirt... that dosn't seem right. Standard to United states (is this coming from somwhere other then the united states?) is five bucks, USPS seems like should be about 3.50. Not griping just pointing things out :).

Two things here
1) GWJ doesn't handle the shipping, Hyperion Press does.
2) I found the shipping to be pretty reasonable myself, especially if you order two items. Try to find a place that has cheaper shipping and isn't Ebay or somebody with mass shipments like Amazon.

Please post pics!

I'm up for the shirt and mug.

Just ordered my shirt, how many more orders till the 50 mark?

We won't know for sure until Thursday, stay tuned!

I ordered 1 of each...

**edit**

If your short a few let me know...

Well, I think I ordered one of each. I like the fact they accept payment via PayPal, but I suspect that's what gave me an error on my order (the immediate transfer of funds). Since Paypal shows the transaction as complete, I guess I'll wait to see if they reject it before trying a second time.

So my wife's reaction to me buying a t-shirt and mug was,

"what, no gwj baseball hat?"

she's kewl, that wife lady.

I am with GameGuru - let me know if you are a few short - I can always use a few extra work out shirts...
