June 14th - 20th

This is going to be a quick update. I was working on this post at the reasonable hour of 1AM and then Pink, the dirty west coaster that he is, invited me to a game of Alien Swarm. Now itÂ's 3AM, we finally beat the damn research level and I have to finish this stupid article for jerks. TodayÂ's Game of the Week is Psi-Ops for the PS2 and Xbox. ThereÂ's physics, telekinesis and ummm.. gunsÂ"… physics. Yeah. ItÂ's $49.99 and itÂ's gotten good reviews at both IGN and Gamespy so far. You might want to wait for some real reviews before placing that order.

On DVD this week weÂ've got the fourth season of The Simpsons, 50 first dates, Tupac: Resurrection and more! The Games

John Deere: American Farmer
Platform: PC
Ships: June 15th
Price: $19.99

The Buzz: Possibly the best John Deere farming simulation ever made.

McFarlaneÂ's Monsters: Evil Prophecy
Platform: PS2
Ships: June 15th
Price: $39.99

The Buzz: Looks like a brawler based on McFarlaneÂ's character designs which I can only assume were made by gothic wanna-be sweat shop laborers.

Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising
Platform: PC
Ships: June 15th
Price: $39.99

The Buzz: I canÂ't say I had much luck with the 100 player press event but some readers have reported having some fun with the coop mode. I suggest waiting and then possibly seeing before picking this one up.

Shadow Ops: Red Mercury
Platform: Xbox
Ships: June 15th
Price: $49.99

The Buzz: The damn terrorists have a nuke and you have to action FPS it away from them pronto!

Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow

Ships: June 15th
Price: $49.99

The Buzz: For some reason Norah Jones is a great singer to listen to while writing the week ahead.

Tom ClancyÂ's Rainbow Six 3
Platform: Gamecube
Ships: June 15th

The Buzz: Â"Yeah IÂ'm feeling the same way all over again. Singing the same lines all over again no matter how much I pretendÂ"… Â"

Front Mission 4

Price: $49.99

The Buzz: Much anticipated, this mech game has garnered some average reviews.

Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

Sorry about that =P

You should do more Week Aheads angry and tired!

The damn terrorists have a nuke and you have to action FPS it away from them pronto!

I wield this mouse, for freedom. That's also why I played Galactic Civilizations for 5 hours Saturday, that was for freedom too.

The Buzz: Possibly the best John Deere farming simulation ever made.

Don't know why but that line made me laugh out loud. You can never have too many farming simulations.

Front Mission 4 will be mine, precious... yessss, once the salesmanses are dead!

Is Front Mission 4 where they call the Mech's "Wankers"? or something along those lines...

Wanzers. But close enough

I must possess the John Deere game.
