March 15th - 21st

Picking the game of the week was really easy once I decided to cop out and pick two games instead. Why force a man to choose between UT2K4 and BF: Vietnam when he really doesn't have to? Both games offer a ton of multiplayer action for $39.99 (less if you look around) and both ship today! Some stores have already seen copies of Vietnam so check your local geek shops.

Not much going on the DVD front unless Lizzie McGuire really does it for you. Oh, and The Last Unicorn is finally out too!The Games

Lords of the Realm III

Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life

The Buzz: I am loving these lower price points! This version of Harvest Moon has been getting some great buzz and should be a winner if you like the previous versions.

MLB 2005

The Buzz: Someone in the EBGames.com comments says "989 IS OFF THE SHIZZY!" which could mean anything really.

I absolutely loved the mix between TBS and RTS in Lords of the Realm II and the new 3D engine looks pretty decent. However, that $19.99 price tag scares the sh*t outta me.

I think I might tell the gamefly folks to toss me a copy of that Harvest Moon game. Never played the previous incarnations, but I've heard nothing but good things.

Oh yeah and UT2k4 has bought and sold me into bondage for the next few weeks.

Edit: Ignominious implementation of grammar rules.

With three pre-teen daughters, Lizzie McGuire is HUGE around our house. Thanks for the heads-up!

Not much around the DVD front?

Uh, 21 Grams is coming out...

If you haven't seen it, at least give it a rent.
It's a fine piece of film making.

21 Grams is still running in theatres over here. I really should get around to watching it. I loved Amores Perros, Innaritu's last movie.

Wow, this is a strange feeling. Actually getting games that you have been wanting for some time and to know you will them in your hands tomorrow is something I have not felt in a long time. *cough HL2 and Doom3 cough*

Let the madness begin.....

Unless it's "Lizzie Maguire: Hot n' Wild" I think I'll pass.

UT2K4 has the rest of my schedule cleared this week.

This week could be somewhat busy:

Monday:EQ LDON party with friends using their accounts (I don't have one)
Tuesday:BFV AND UT2K4 with you guys
Wednesday: BFV with a friend's clan
Thursday:BFV and UT2K4
Friday:BFV and UT2K4 with a friend's clan
Saturday:Fiance breaks the engagement:shock:
Sunday:Back to BFV and UT2K4

Breakdown is finally will be out... now I can put out all the candles in the house. Seriously I think I'm starting to get high on the fumes of those candles...

Ok, what's the big deal with 21 grams? Besides the editing I mean. If you arranged it as a straight movie, it would be at best a mediocre one.

Amores Perros rocked, tho

"So what's the big deal about Memento? Besides the editing I mean. If you arranged it as a straight movie, it would be at best a mediocre one."

"So what's the big deal about The Sixth Sense? Without the twist I mean. If you made it so that Bruce wasn't actually dead, it would be crap."

Not much going on the DVD front unless Lizzie McGuire really does it for you.

Lezzie does it for me, got a problem with that?
