Some people have been asking me what the criteria for choosing who to profile is. Right now having a custom tag, being a donor, a girl or simply an interesting person helps. When it comes to actually posting the profiles, the ones who send pictures in will always go up ahead of the others. Bravery must be rewarded after all. Anyone who sends a picture of their sexy wife, girlfriend or sister gets extra points too! Anyways, today we take a look at Flux.
Who the devil are you?
29yr old out of shape male. Middle name is Lowell. (yeah, my middle name is spelled like the character on the old TV series Wings, shaddup!)
What are you supposed to be doing during the day when youÂ're reading GWJ?
Supporting about 500 users throughout a large health organization who are using a medical supply management software. In my cubicle, I turned my PC around (facing out) so that people who were passing by could see what I was doing. My reason for doing this was so I would get more work done...didn't work. I have succeeded in developing vietcong-like hearing and could hear a mouse fart 15 cubicles away. Nobody walks up on me without me knowing! I work in spurts honestly....I work on a few problems, make a few calls, write more documentation,etc...and then it is back to see what has been posted on GWJ or other various sites.
When youÂ're not working or gaming, what do you do with your time?
Spend time with my fiance. We watch movies, read books, and play the GBA-SP. I finally started working out again.
How about family? Do you have any kids?
My family consists of my dad, mom, brother, niece and nephew. No kids yet.
What was your favorite game over the last year or so? Why?
My favorite game in the past year? Hmmm. Kinda tough to decide but I would have to say Neverwinter Nights.
Which game are you looking forward to most?
I hate to go with a familiar answer but I have to say Half Life 2. I don't give a damn about delays and I don't give a damn about who stole what, I think HL2 will be high quality and a great experience.
What is your fondest gaming memory?
Hmm, reminds me of a thread from way back called Nostalgia . I would say it has to go back to Half Life. Adjusting to the enemy AI and having them throw grenades at me on the balcony was just groundbreaking.
Finally, why do you play games at all? Why havenÂ't you outgrown them?
I like to "get away" from everything in my life every once in a while. I also love technology and like to see what creative people can do with their talents. I feel like gaming is one of the best ways to experience this. I think I haven't outgrown gaming yet because I don't want to.
Thanks for taking the time to answer our hard-hitting questions, any last words?
"Don't touch my swingline stapler!"
