You Too, Huh? Later.

Do we really want another MMORPG, even one as promising as World of Warcraft? Haven't we learned by now that massively multiplayer games are filled with other people? We're not all trained actors or even mediocre roleplayers. Hell, we're not all even trying. Just as games of Diablo aren't filled with laments over Baal's evil deeds and hushed whisperings of rumored Horadric Cube lore, we're not likely to find anyone singing songs about Thrall when we wander into an orc camp. Chances are pretty good that we're going to see pretty much the same behavior in Azeroth as we have in the East Commonlands, Vasudheim, and Dantooine. Of course, none of this is going to prevent me from buying the game. I'll see you there!IL Comic

I will probably see you there too. It is true that these games are filled with idiots but the more mmorpgs that adopt the self-generated missions and single group encounters the better chance we have of playing with our close friends and not Joe_Dicksmack#00214

You forgot where the elf responds with "30/M/Parent's Basement"

Otherwise, you nailed it

No, it's in there, but a little subtle. Check the title of the article

Ahh, I see. Thankfully I've never seen anyone do this in game. Thank god for RP servers . . .

You're missing the point. The point being to get togther with as many hopeless nerds as possible and obtain...*dramatic pause* bigger numbers.

Unless you're using 2nd Ed. D&D rules, in which case sometimes the numbers can be smaller.

It is worse in Lineage 2...that game features pantie shots.

Too subtle for me? Say it ain't so! Good one.

It's just more *ahem* "realistic" with underwear...

Living where I do, playing MMORPG was one of my unfulfilled fantasies. Countless times I was on verge of ordering "Everquest - The Complete Works And Then Some", but never actualy caved in and did it. There was no point, my connection was to lowsy.

Now, I have much better chances of actualy enjoying one of those babies, but there's no time to spare. Fiance, job and a half, and school don't actualy leave much breathing space for any other form of commitment, which MMORPGs sure require.

darn

But, I'll get there one day. SWG probably.

Hehe, this is almost spot on descritption of me. Only one thing is different: I would LOVE to have a basement.

Why do female RPG characters never look like Mama Cass?

The pre- Shadows of Luclin versions of the female troll and ogre in EQ were pretty horrendous. They were also statistically the least played characters of the entire game. It was one of the reasons why I ended up playing the female troll for a while. It was cool running around and not running into any carbon copies of myself. Oddly enough, I still had male characters give me free stuff and always asking to group with me.

Like the post Shadows of Luclin trolls and ogres were sooo much better

Actually I prefered the pre Luclin male Troll design.

Very nice drawing Sway. But why are the elf girl's boots so huge? It seems a common thing too. Giant boots on tiny women.

Well, you know what they say about large feet-ed women. Oooh yeah.

I was just exaggerating the screenshots I've seen from WoW. Also Ugg boots are in right now. Even Oprah likes 'em.

That they wear large boots?

That they wear large boots?

Er... Well, mostly, yes.
