Various sites such as EuroGamer and Cube-Europe are reporting that Nintendo of Europe will lower the Gamecube price from €199 down to €99 ($100) next month. Also, Pikmin, Starfox Adventures and Luigi's Mansion are going to be available for €19.99 ($20). Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime will join the Player's Choice ranks.
There's no official confirmation of this yet. If it was true though it would be one of the few cases where NoE is actually doing something ahead of the NoA or NoJ. A nice surprise considering that they had become so efficient in disturbing and decimating their own user base in the recent past that I was close to being convinced that Nintendo of Europe is nothing but a subsection of Sony's or Microsoft's PR departments.
