The Week Ahead

Monday already? The last thing I remember was getting Knights of the Old Republic on Thursday and playing until 3 AM. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I did the same thing Friday, Saturday and Sunday too. Not since Everquest has a game so utterly destroyed my inner-clock. The good news is that eventually it will end and I can get back to normal. The bad news is that soon the game will end and I'll have to get back to normal.

Not much going for games this week but we'll see if we can dig something up for the list.

The BIG Games

Europa Universalis Crown of the North
Platform: PC
Ships: July 22nd
Price: $29.99

The Buzz: This is a new stand alone game from the strategy nuts behind the original Europa Universalis and Hearts of Iron. If you're into heavy strategy games this one could be for you.

The Great Escape
Platform: Xbox, PS2, PC
Ships: July 22nd
Price: $39.99

The Buzz: A game based on an old movie (parodied by Chicken Run no less) so who knows how this one will pan out. The trailer doesn't look all bad though, keep your eyes out for reviews as the week progresses.

Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic
Platform: PC
Ships: July 27th
Price: $29.99

The Buzz: A new stand alone game from the popular Age of Wonders series, you can expect new races, maps and a brand new full campaign. Add 19 stand-alone scenarios and I would think anyone into the series would jump at this.

Some of those DVDs looked pretty cool, like Batman and Justice League, till I realized my DVD player is my XBox, and there's no way in hell it's going to be free anytime soon.

Not to sound like a broken record, but I'd just like to echo the "lost weekend" feeling. I didn't do a damn thing but play KOTOR, and occasionally eat. All freaking weekend.

Same here... though I didn't get a chance to play KOTOR, still debating on X vs PC thing. So I decided to play some FFX, sense the recent talk about FFXI... Dang, 38 hours straight... I feel like a zombie, and look like one too, or at least that is what my co-workers and the boss told me. Arh!... brai... er, sleep, need sleep...

Ugh, can't believe the weekend is over all ready. Since thursday Ive pretty much played all my waking hours on KOTOR, except for breaks for food, and a little Enemy Territory. Ive put 30 hours in, and am at the end I think. Now all I can think about is how I want to play it again.

I was a KOTOR zombie as well all weekend. I'm at 25 hours and doing the Maanan trial thing. Can't wait till its over so I can play again.
