Half-Life 2 Scans

Section:

As expected people are receiving their PC Gamer magazines and the scans are rolling in! If you want a look at Valve's first new game since Half-Life be sure to check these scans out. A few stand out tidbits of info are presented as well. Let's see here, the release date is September 30th this year, the girl seen in the scans is NOT playable, the same author who wrote the original is doing the plot for this one, there will be a Half-Life 3 and finally the game will supposedly run on a DX6 compatible TNT card if pressed. Crazy go nuts!

September 30th? Thank you Valve for sitting on the announcement and not dragging us through years of hype.

Dear Valve,

Baby, I'm sorry 'bout those things I said about you.  I didn't know, baby!  I didn't know.  You and me, we're - ya know - tight!  We're tight like spandex four sizes too small.  Baby, I mean tight.  Now, how 'bout a little sugar.  Just a little s'mthin' s'mthin for me, whatchoo say?

Okay. I demand playable head crab.

This actually looks pretty damn cool and some of the screenshots remind me of the Arachnid bugs in Starship Troopers, Hopefully it'll play as good as if not better than the original.

DX6 TNT card as a minimum?  I hope they're being sarcastic.  Don't get me wrong, I like that I'll be able to run it, but it makes you think about what this engine is capable of doing in the face of some of the big game engines that are about to come out.

And doesn't that pic with the "Hydra" impaling the baddie remind you of "The Abyss"?

Now let's see how long it takes PC Gamer to tell the guy with the link to pull the page...

Hey 6 comments, is this a record?
