This is one of those news items that is pretty much entirely covered in the headline. Anything I write here will be redundant. But, for those of you who read the site from bottom to top, I'll give you the news here so you don't even have to bother with the headline. According to Blizzard, they somehow managed to find a handful of people who might be interested in beta testing their new Warcraft III expansion, The Frozen Throne (sounds like it takes place in my bathroom every morning). Beta signups are officially closed. If you submitted your application and they like the cut of your jib, they'll contact you "within the next several weeks".

I've never gotten into any randomly selected beta, ever. I signed up yet again, but I'm not holding my breath.
