This year at PAX East I had the pleasure of speaking with a Mike Mood, one of the minds behind Bendy and the Ink Machine, which fans of FGTeeV will recognize as a charming little indie game that, well, maybe I’ll let him describe it:
It probably makes sense for me to pick Spintires: Mudrunners: The Ridge, the latest free expansion for the Dark Souls of mundane vehicle simulators. It certainly provides enough incentive to dust off the force-feedback driving wheel and let me humble-brag about how I own a force-feedback driving wheel.
But I’m not going to do that.
Battle Royale Bootcamp drops this week and solves the main problem I have with the battle-royale phenomenon: the involvement of 99 other people, all of whom are better at battle-royale games than I am. So if you want to play a battle-royale game without this multiplayer fad crapping all over it, there’s your game of the week.
