Pics From The Show

The line for the Wii was made even more awesome with people on TV screens to chat with. This particular fellow does a lot of voices for Nintendo games.

With E3 now behind us, we have a moment to reflect back on the chaos and remember the good times. Beating Elysium at Madden for the third year in a row, getting buzzed at Microsoft's community night and even our hot date with GameGuru on Tuesday. All sorts of pictures from the show await you!

GameGuru took the staff out for a good time at the Stinking Rose after we landed on Tuesday. From left to right we have The Fly, Certis, Elysium, GameGuru and Pyro. One of these people looks like a young Robert De Niro, you can guess which one.

Visual proof that Pyro did indeed go to the Starbucks and order a "milk" while we waited for the shuttle. They almost fainted.

When you first entered the Wii area you walked on a catwalk around a rotating floor, where they played games with what I presume were famous people.

Imagine waiting in line for three hours only to be greeted by this mass in the Nintendo Wii area. Glad we only had to wait about 20 minutes!

Our now annual lunch meeting with Bill Harris in Kentia Hall was a success. Next year I'm making a "I heart the Bill" T-Shirt before I go. From left to right we have Bill, Elysium, Fletcher, Certis, Pyro, Gameguru and The Fly.

Remember kids, you'll get high just breathing too deeply in LA. If I don't see a spliff Photoshopped into Elysium's hand by the end of the day, I'm going to be very disappointed in you people.

A couple close-ups of the Wii, including a sexy rear image. Woo woo! Shake it Wii! Sorry.

Gabe from Penny Arcade taking a crack at Wii golf. Let me tell you something, he sucked at it. I drove the ball like a white, out of shape Tiger Woods.

After seeing Paraworld we took a quick picture with (left to right) Thomas Langhanki and Spunior. They're a good bunch of Germans and we had a great time with them at the Hamburger Hamlet on Friday night. We saw Matthew Perry there, which is a big deal apparently.

Some Guitar Hero girls celebrate their sale to Activision. Random dude thrown in just so you know "that guy" is still at E3 so he can touch booth babes.

Aside from chatting with Geoff Keighley, meeting the man behind Pure Pwnage was a highlight of the show.

IMAGE(http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/files/images/IMG_0734.thumbnail.jpg)

Indeed.

The desperation to get swag rises to a fever pitch near the end of the show when exhausted gamers can think of nothing but t-shirts and doing whatever it takes to get them. Whatever it takes includes screaming whatever hot blond women tell them to.

IMAGE(http://www.gamerswithjobs.com/files/images/IMG_0738.thumbnail.jpg)

The only thing more depressing than watching desperate men scream at a stage for $5 dollar shirts is watching the same people dancing in the Nokia area for N-Gage shirts.

Major Nelson pumps up the crowd at Microsoft's community event.

The Frag Dolls hold court at the Microsoft event, they're a fun bunch of gals.

KrazyTaco met up with us on Friday evening, after a special night he reaches for one last grab before we part ways. Never change, you krazy bastard.

Elysium requested a picture that didn't show him looking either high or in the act of being molested, so here's a shot of him cutting me in half with a chainsaw.

There are even more pics from the show, hit the gallery if you'd like to browse them.

I think my favorite part of the night was when I was sitting in their hotel room and Certis said "I'm just looking for C*ck".

That's a filthy lie, anyone who corroborates that story is also a liar.

Fixed.

Yeah man, that's total crazy talk.

KT, I see that Army training has made you a 'killa'. Or a male nipple grabber. Maybe the taxpayers should ask for their money back on that one!

Try if you want. Just know you have to get past me first.

I was there, Krazy. It happened. He was looking for c*ck everywhere, and as I remember confirmed that he spends a lot of time browsing for c*ck. Seemed like a strange thing to say ... especially with Pyro right there!

Meeting Bill Harris was the highlight of E3 for me (after playing Guitar Hero 2).

That one blond chick stuck in the creepy Nintendo "window" was hot..

Is KT related to Reaper the same way Certis and Podunk are?

I've always wondered what Gabe from Penny Arcade looked like, and now that I know I don't think the mental image I've had of him for years has changed.

Also, is WTF an actual game? My interest has been peaked if so, and I don't even own a Sony console.

I want to know where Bill got his PRC flag design socks.

Perhaps you guys are just remembering wrong. Maybe it was more "I can't wait to get my hands on the Wii" or "Feeling the Wii in person really changed things".

Is "I'm just looking for C*ck". work safe? I mean, here I am browsing GWJ at work at my usual 32 point font... and my co-worker glances over and takes a double take.

Ok 'work' is my computer room at home, and my 'co worker' is a Black Lab - but still.

It's certainly better than a giant picture of monkey privates, if that's what you're driving at.

This is the thread that delivers on the promises.

That monkey privates picture is still burning in my retinas.

If you found the image of Gabe startling, wait until you see Tycho.

Also, WTF must have been at Kentia Hall. There is no other explanation.

Actually, the WTF image is from the Korea games area in one of the main halls. Korea had a big presence this year.

Fletcher looks like he's recovering from somehing. What did you guys do to him?

First rule of C*ck Club: Don't talk about C*ck Club.

It's certainly better than a giant picture of monkey privates, if that's what you're driving at.

Well... you got to admit, the monkey did have what Certis is looking for, dunno if it attended E3 though.

$10 says KrazyTaco broke into his room during the night for some manly lovin'

:D

That's confidential.

Amen! I love you guys (grabs random ass)!

I love this thread!! I have to say though, you guys look a lot younger then I imagined you to be.

I gotta ask though, in which one of these pictures are you guys NOT either drunk or high on something ?

Oddly enough Certis said I looked exactly how he imagined me to look. I'm not sure what that means though.

Honestly KT, I actually expected you to be crazier looking, with some really interesting haircut or something

Nah, I'm just a normal looking guy. I've heard that I look like Eminem from an ass load of people.

If my picture was a little sharper you would see that I'm wearing glasses and I look like Eminem's twin.

Err... I'm sorry to hear that?
