NFL 2011 Week 7

Hey, I'm not hatin', just celebratin'.

Wow, are the Colts this bad or are the Saints this good? Saints could put up 60 tonight, if they keep the pedal down. They look like they can complete a pass at will.

Saints coming off a road loss and now focused at home to avoid a losing streak.

And the Colts aren't very good.

Wow. The colts look horrible.

Boo! Put Brees back in! I need him to throw some more touchdowns for my fantasy team to have any sort of a chance.

And the saints piss off fantasy team owners everywhere by pulling brees

You were saying...

Kind of classless of the Saints to kick the extra point though, couldn't they just kneel on it?

they're going for 69.

I'm glad I decided to watch 60 Minutes' piece on the Steve Jobs biography. Much more enlightening.

Wow.

That is all.

I apologize in advance to anyone who decided to watch one of the most embarrassing displays of professional football I've ever seen in Cleveland today. Every single phase of the game was miserable, including the officiating.

It was so boring it was like watching a baseball game.

That was the NFL equivalent of that terrible Auburn/Mississippi State game that ended 3-2.

I used to think that just like there's no such thing as bad sex, there's no such thing as bad football. Seattle-Cleveland proved I was wrong in the latter case.

I was in a lousy mood at how badly Tampa played, but then I realized I'm at least not a Seattle, Cleveland, or Indianapolis fan. Made me feel much better.

WAR EAGLE! haha

There was a lot of bad football out there yesterday.. and tonight's matchup doesn't exactly appeal to the masses. Of course, it will still get twice the viewers the World Series gets, which is unfortunate.

If your team still needs help after your QB gets 5 TDs...

I see your Schwartz is as big as mine. Now let's see how well you handle it.

I'm a huge Indy fan, and last night looked like the worst game I have EVER seen by that team. We all knew it was more or less a one-man show in Indy, but nothing underscored that point more than last night's complete and total humiliation by New Orleans. If any of the front office survives the year, the owner should personally apologize to each and every person who paid to watch Indy play this year...I've written on the point of the front office issues before, but last night's game has pretty much left me speechless.

Remember.. at least you WON some Superbowls...well..one in your city that is.

Somebody over on Football Outsiders brought up a great quote out of Jaworski's last book (The Games That Changed The Game), where he mentioned that he and Gruden were watching a Colts practice prior to a MNF game, and noticed that Manning took all the snaps and the backups took none of them. When he asked why, Tom Moore's response was, "Fellas, if '18' goes down, we're f*cked. And we don't practice f*cked."

I wonder if that's why Moore decided to abandon ship.

It was wonderful watching the look on Bob Irsay's face. It was like watching Pol Pot get uppercutted in the nuts.

Between 1999 and 2010 they only averaged 11.5 wins per year. Throw the bums out!

I wrote at length about the incredible run Indy had in an early post before the season started. Believe me, I don't think we deserve anything, and feel especially bad for some of the good teams that just happened to be in our division. Last night's game though, was something else. It was a game for the ages...just not the type of game for the ages I would have preferred :).

It's about time the Jags put Mike Thomas back at punt returner. They had been playing a rookie and he was stru-guh-leeng.

Jags are making me angry.. Defense is playing well.. offense has had chances.. this should be a 10-0 game.. Maybe 14-0

Josh Scobee is the best long-range kicker in the NFL. At worst, he's in the top class with a couple of other guys.

It's criminal that he's never been voted into the Pro Bowl. He has unquestionably been one of the league's top kickers for some time now. The Jags have just never had a high powered offense that puts him at the top of the total scoring stats.

Hi. Welcome to being a Jaguar fan. I've felt your Eagle fan frustration, now you get to feel mine.
