This is sweet indeed. The only way it could get any better would be for Andre to suddenly take the field and kick Cortland Finnegan's a$$ again.

I was wrong. Our kicker just absolutely levelled the Titans' kickoff returner.

Wrong again - we just got a pick six. I guess there were a lot of ways left for the game to get better. 41-7.

Damnit Tebow is messing me up... I mean how could the fans be wrong??

If you like injuries and penalties, the Bucs-Bears game is for you.

I forgot the game was not really a home game for the Bucs, I would have picked the Bears!

That was some Philadelphia-esque tackling by Detroit just now...

I've got an idea. Start Orton for 3 quarters and Tebow for the 4th.

Tim Tebow! HE JUST WINS!

Boooooooooo

Miami as the opponent helps as well...

I said "strip sack" a good full second before Moore's arm got hit and he fumbled the game away in OT. Great pocket awareness, there.

That's so crazy, it just might work.

John Fox might end up become the Tony La Russa of the NFL if he pulls that and makes it work.

This Deadskins-Panthers game is almost as exciting as watching a swim meet. Which ranks slightly below watching grass grow.

But the second half was as exciting as a swim meet in a minefield!

It was nice to see Newton actually throw a TD pass inside the red zone instead of just run it in (though he did that, too.)

Hope Hightower is OK. That knee injury can't be good.

Red Zone is reporting the Denver at Miami game is far worse. The game was deep into the third quarter and neither team had converted a third down yet.

But, Tim Tebow! Tim Tebow is exciting! Tim Tebow!

Tebow's continued mediocrity and general failure amuses me.

Pretty awesome to see this topic after being out all day, and the progression of comments as games go on all the way into OT.

When I first saw Ponder at the start of the Vikings game I thought the camera was focusing on the kicker because they were about to kickoff. Dude does not look like a QB.

I'm not watching the game, but with 3 INTs in the first half it's pretty clear Kyle Boller shouldn't be in the NFL. What's that? Oh, right, I've been saying that since he was drafted.

Can't believe they didn't start Palmer. What the hell is the point of the trade if he's not going to get out there?

Anyway they put him in in the 3rd and he completes his 1st pass for 18, with a 15-yd roughing-the-passer tacked on. Hell that alone was more offense that Boeller had the whole 1st half.

The Vikings have blown another lead?

It's a lot to ask of a guy to go from being at home and trying to stay in shape on his own, to starting an NFL game in just a week.

Now, what I don't get is, why did the team keep Kyle Boller and let Bruce Gradkowski walk? Gradkowski is a competent backup, far more so than Kyle Boller appears to be.

Al Davis could pronounce Boller?

I think maybe Kolb isn't good.

Break up the Chiefs!

I dumped KC defense after Buffalo lit them up before. Maybe they're not so bad?

I wouldn't give them that much credit. Those 3 INTs were flat out gifts.

I don't think it's time to go into panic mode in Oakland yet, but this was at least supposed to be close. I see Boller back on the bench unless there's a need, especially if McFadden isn't back soon. We need a passer.

And how about Pryor's debut? 1 play:1 penalty - That's what we call batting 1.000!

So Christian Ponder didn't look horrible today. At the very least he's validated Leslie Frazier's assertion that he gives them the best chance to win.
In another quarterback note, Aaron Rodgers ties the all time league record with seven consecutive games with a QB rating of 110+ (Steve Young also had seven in 1994). He's playing at an exceptionally high level right now.

Exceptional? That's an understatement.

8 INTs in the KC/Oak game. Did we come close to a record?

Edit: Looks like 9 INTs has happened twice before. Wow.

Not to mention the best chance at actually getting better in the future. He may lack an elite arm but he has NFL tools, particularly for a West Coast style attack.

Jesus.. I didn't even see the 3 by Palmer... Had classwork to finish and got spoiled on the final score...

I'm not panicing quite yet... but I'm sure they are at home.

What's worse, I was actually at the game.

Don't get too excited. Titans may suck, but Texans aren't much better.
