I'm not funny enough for you? You didn't like my amazing story of near death and excitement? Yeah, I'd go see a real comedian too. Have fun.

Yes friends, TK is just as dreamy as you all imagined it and that's a pretty terrible picture of Grinds =)

What? I'm not dreamy? Oh yeah, I'm old.

Oh no... that story is very situational. It did get a few laughs at penguincon, I can't believe I told it. Maybe if you are all good, I will tell it again in raid. I'm such a dork.

Do you really think you can be in raid with Eric and people who haven't heard the story and he won't hound you until you cough it up? Fat chance.

Grinds: better looking than you'd expect and pulling down the young'ins =)

May be a little late tonight.

PC update: reinstalling Win7 on a newish HDD partition. I hope that WoW will just work when run from the broken partition. We'll see. Otherwise I have a 20gb download and some serious UI work that needs to be done before I can raid again.

How did raid go this evening?

4 down, plus the extra boss for TK, who should be getting his epic staff shortly. Grinds had to leave earlyish because he had a phone call to make that he forgot about but we convinced him to hang out for a half-hour anyway. So just Baleroc, Domo and Rag left.

And from what everyone says, you have some serious UI work that needs to get done anyway.

This is true, Carg. But it'll have to wait for a different crash. My WoW install is alive and well on one of my HDDs.

Was the extra boss cool?

Extra boss was pretty cool. Not real difficult but cool. We got the branch and are working toward that legendary. Good run last night folks, had a lot of fun. Sorry I had to jet a bit early with the phone call, but it was something that had to happen. Looking forward to the next run.

WoW installs on PCs are pretty resilient. All you have to do is copy the WoW folder around and run the exe and it just works. Have done it plenty of times.

Spoiler:

I've got $20 on Cat-Carrier of Doom booty call.
Any takers?

Lol. It was not that kind of call. But on a side note, got back in touch with her too. We'll see if I need or purchase body armor or not.

What's the point? You still won't know where it is when the cat carrier is delivered.

What you really need is a necklace with a miniature glass cutter on it, so that you always have on-hand a way to escape through a random window.

Sunday
7:30
FL
Tanks: Carg, Selika Alt (no, I still don't know the toon's name. Elllaiia, maybe?)
Heals: Grinds, Rant, Lawk
DPS: Shank, Jeynsa, Zero, TK, Blue

Oh yeah, hey, the thing about Sunday is I don't know for sure that I'll be in town. I should find out today.

And hell, I might be back home by then, I don't know. Sorry for my crazy availability this week. It's been a weird week.

Out Sunday, sorry. My schedule will calm down the next week. Just need to get something out of the way Sunday.

I blame you for this, appropriately enough.

Okay, so. Cindra heal and bring in Winter to DPS? We didn't really want two token rogues anyway, did we?

I liked two Token Rogues for all the add 'control' on Rag, but we'll make do with what we've got.
Cindra heals and Winter DPSs Sunday @ 7:30.

Know something about:
Baleroc, Domo, Rag

I am still iffy on the comedian...there are "factors" that go into it.

If for some reason I do NOT go, I will be online in case you guys need a sub.

If you are available we'd def take you tanking over Selika, have Selika heal and move Cindra to his rogue. The better geared tank combined with Mana Tide gives us a fighting chance. As it stands right now, our hopes of downing Rag on Sunday are pretty slim. Though we will give it a shot.

How far did you guys get last/last Sunday?

How far did you guys get last/last Sunday?

The best we did was reaching the second transition, which destroyed us.

Rag might be beyond our reach, but more practice is always good, and we still have easy loots and VPs from Baleroc and Fandral to collect, so it's not as if the whole night will be a wash.

Tonight is looking questionable. I have some friends in town and we're celebrating her husband returning from Iraq, so I'm hosting a dinner / planning session. The timing is up in the air when they'll be here but I'm making the food. I'll try to keep you guys posted but I'm planning on having the meal complete around 7PM server and then gaming from the lappie for the kills.

EDIT: In case you were all wondering, it's going to be a fancy, six-cheese macaroni bake with some grilled strip steaks and broccoli.
