League Of Legends Catch All

So hey, I have a good friend who is (as far as I can tell) a fairly exceptional player and has been wanting to find a fun, teamwork-oriented ranked team to join in LoL. I figured I'd ask in the thread here, is there a GWJ ranked team at all that he could perhaps get into some games with?

Also, played Teemo for the first time yesterday, and he is so Squee! I was also able to easily survive the early game with him. I may need to get some skins for him.

Teemo is the best, and similar to me, it's true.

Although I wish some other champs got the same quantity and quality of skins that he got...

I tried to get a ranked team off the ground, but only had one hit when I mentioned it a month or so ago. I'd still be up for it if we can get enough peeps interested. I'd want to have 6-7 people, and set a specific night(s) to rotate players around.

Cool. I'll get him to register on GWJ so you and he can be in touch via PM's and see if maybe you can get something off the ground.

I would play some ranked, I feel I am above average.

It's the Fields of Justice... sheesh.

The gauntlet has been thrown, ser!

Way to call him out Westerosi style.

I am still interested if you ever find more.

Yeah, I currently hooked on those books.
Still, gauntlet and stuff.

I might be interested in some team ranked if you can tolerate how bad I am

I'd be interested as well once I have a computer able to play LoL again.

Dear Teemo aficionados: Super Teemo skin walks in normal movement, and does the flying superman pose when move quick is active.

That is all.

WANT!

Why does Teemo get all these qualities that are normally only in Legendary skins in his normal skins? Favoritism!

The cuteness will not be denied.

You choose the place, I will choose the weapons.

To be honest, Astronaut is my least favourite Teemo skin because it suffers the problem that the changes make him much more of a target, what with the lasers, pew pew sound effects and everything. Lion Dance Kog'Maw has a similar effect, but only that his W and his R are much, much more obvious due to the sound effects.

And heck, plenty of non-Legendary skins have "Legendary qualities" these days. They've moved away from making dramatic changes only available from Legendary skins a very long time ago... plenty of 957RP skins are more than simple re-colour/re-skins, especially if the character has a minion/pet.

I was mostly joking, but now that you bring it up there is definitely an imbalance in terms of "newness for your RP" when it comes to some champs. Teemo and Annie tend to get much greater changes for their 975RP than someone like Miss Fortune or Vayne.

Do I choose the Champions?

Sure. You pick em, and we solo mid mirror match until first blood.

To the death? No, to the pain.

Also, because Teemo gets no love, new champion spotlight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qj48q...

I started playing on EU West. So far I only "know" how to play with Sivir or something like that (ricochet, boomerang).
Account name is liquid. Summoner is Wiz of Oz.
Will try to play more in a couple of days so if you're completely noob like me, feel free to add me. I've played only a handful of games but having empty-headed teammates is worse than having feeders. So far my impression is that when put with random teams there isn't any teamwork (unlike my experience with HoN) - no one calls missing heroes, ganks, pushes, etc. Hopefully this will change when/if it starts putting me with more experienced players.

(What am I missing here with this quote?)

This is me and just for the record, I want to say, I wouldn't call me an exceptional player. I still do stuff like fall prey for the Teemo global taunt, can't resist cupcakes, and I don't jungle Rammus (currently).

Barathis/DonMiniMe

You can't use the content tags (like quote) until you hit a certain post number; it's to prevent certain kinds of spam. Glad to have you aboard!

Try to touch base with Tals or Torq they are both on EU West and are great fun to have on a team. There is a EU mumble server that is quite often full. Tals can get you the server information.

Oh my goodness Yorrick is amazingly good. First two games I ever play with him and I go 36/6/24 (pvp Summoner's Rift).

carrot, i assume you pulled off 36 kills vs. bots? That's insane for a normal game.

Finally pulled the trigger on the 4-win IP boost I earned for a referral. Usual payoff for a win is 230 or so, the boost gave me an extra 100. Still, feels like it's gonna take me forever to fill a rune sheet at this rate.

Hiya,

Add me as a friend if you like, summoner name is: TorqGWJ

At the very early levels there are plenty of people who are new to the game and new to the genre as a whole. Many of them are just trying it out for a couple of days, and certainly will not know any of the commonly accepted practices that are found with experienced play.
I know because I was one of these players!

Once you hit level 10, which is pretty quick, that is usually the time when you will start to encounter players who are in for the long haul and will understand more about the mechanics and the courtesies of calling mia's, pinging, jungling, global objectives, etc...

No, that was pvp, but over two games.

Added. I'm lvl 6 now. Still my performance varies a lot, what can you do. The problem I see is that I don't use voice communication in games. So if you guys need that I'll be doing the listening and following orders and helping out.
