Week 6 Deadline: Saturday, September 10th @ 7am

Anyone heard from Hansome?? I sent him an invite back into the league since booting him.

Hey, good timing on my bye week!!

Michigan wins 31-13. Injury bug is feasting on my team right now

Defense and special teams win this one for me. Ouch.

The Road to Glory is horrible. Pass calls when there should be runs, runs when there should be passes. 3:30 to go, down by 10 points on the road, and run after run after run after run. Somehow manage to score a TD and get the ball back with time. 3rd and 10, all fade patterns. 4th and 10, all fade patterns. Managed to get the 1st down somehow, but had another 4th and 10 with all fade patterns. Horrible. Toward the end of the 2nd quarter, I used one of my 5 play changes to change a play. The AI then calls a timeout for my team with 2:01 to play in the half, right after I changed the play............................WHY!?!?!?!?! 3rd and 5, I had a run play, went to change it up, 3 run plays from shotgun formation, all sh*t. So I ran the original play......................1 yard loss.

HORRIBLE.

I'm done venting

*EDIT*
Once again, once I get all achievement on RtG, I will never play the mode for NCAA12 again. Yearly fail, on something that could be so good.

At least the injury thing only matters for the game at hand: there's a bug which keeps the injuries from carrying over week-to-week in online dynasties. So, if you lost Denard Robinson the whole year? Really it'd just end up being for the game...

It must not work for me. He got injured last week. Wasn't in the game this week.

Meyer was injured for 2 weeks last week....................he was back this week vs Syracuse. I heard Michigan players are p*ssies, maybe that's why he didn't come back

*EDIT*
GO IRISH!

pssst...hey.....The Irish didn't hear you

No f*cking kidding. Actually, I think they heard "Psst...turn the ball over again..."

This has already started to feel like 2007 all over again!

I will work on my recruiting online and then play my game later today.

Kush,
can you do me a favor and post a link to the new thread when its up? I went all weekend not realizing we had rolled, lol. Its really laziness on my part to not check but with playing in 4 xbox leagues, one real life flag football league, and a fantasy football league, its really hard to keep them all straight. That said, I will get my game ASAP.

Sorry Zell, normally I do, I must have forgotten in my rush to roll the league Sat morning.

I'll do my recruiting tonight.

BTW, Hoppa and I played Sunday afternoon. He was up by quite a bit when the game lost connection. It gave both of us the option to continue vs. the computer. I declined, but encouraged Hoppa to finish it since he had a nice 2nd half lead.

ok...tried to play my game before I leave for a trip. Servers went down in the third. I will be back sunday afternoon if you can wait that long to roll...if not, I understand. I will be able to check GWJ while gone, but wont have an xbox.

That should be fine. At this point, there's no pressure to roll, I'm just waiting for the damn patch that was supposed to come out at the end of August. Like everything EA Sports, it takes longer, and is probably a giant disappointment.

And will probably break something else...

IMHO (although they did improve in some areas, but on the whole), NCAA12 is a step back from NCAA11.

Yeah, there does just seem to be more issues than there should be for what is mostly just a incremental upgrade.

Per Firesloth in the NCAA 12 game thread, the patch it out. I just downloaded it.

Also, when you reset, do not use Fairdale Kings rosters. They are not up to date.

I'm going to see if I can find some good week 1 rosters.

It sounds like this crazy approach is the way to get some of the old rosters working correctly post-patch:

1. Download rosters from locker (save as Mustangs84 - he is doing most recent updates.)

2. Delete patch (NOTE: you do so by going into your game in your hard drive memory and delete the title #2 update - you can no longer just clear cache to remove title updates - this must have recently changed!!!).

3. Go into game without downloading the patch.

4. Save previously downloaded rosters as a new file with a new name (I named them "rosters"). Delete the "Mustangs84" file.

5. Exit and quit game.

6. Download patch and the roster tendencies will now work

Mustangs84 - Seems to be up to date with week 1 rosters.

Mustangs84 seems legit. Just downloaded that one and Michigan seems good. ND seems pretty accurate as well. I was hoping no one would be "overrated" but I like these ratings.

If I am not too concerned about my saved dynasties, can I just delete the whole game and start new and fresh like I never played?

That's what I am thinking.

BTW, leaving tomorrow morning for OBX. The house already has an XBox, and as long as it's not an Elite, I will have my profile with me to use (regular memory card). I will look into downloading the Mustangs roster set, and I will once again set up the league at some point during the week. I need people to let me know if they are still playing the league, since the interest has died down a little.

Still playing.

WE may need to readjust some sliders. I just escaped from a loss to WMU. O-Line wasn't picking up blitzers at all. I managed a whopping 46 yards rushing on 26 carries. Forget about having a quick QB, the D-Line adjusts to your every move. If you even think about scrambling they've already adjusted. Notre Dame just adjusted and I haven't even started the game yet.

Passing seems about the same. I threw one pic but that was legit. There was some suspect adjusting by some safeties again.

Mustang's rosters are solid though. Michigan's roster was exactly what they rolled on day 1 and they seem to be ranked fairly.

I'm still in. I forgot what the plan is. Are we going to restart with real names? I'd like to, especially since the season started (NU 1-0!!!)

I'm in. Maybe we should look at sliders...read what the folks changed post patch to get an idea of what to expect. I think we need to do it soon to keep interest.
