Wow. Just wow. Deep Grief aboundeth. Favourite podcast gone, gone!!!
And in a less egotistic vein, grats, Fletch!! Hope it meets and exceeds your expectations!! (Was that sufficiently corporatey, Master?)
Oh well... everything I wanted to say has already been said by someone here... so here's to you, and to the site, you guys have enriched me.
PS. How about a _little_ Audio Extension for E3? Huh? Can we, Uncle Certis, can we?
And so far there isn't, but I think we'll both be a LOT happier when there is. That would get me in bed at a decent hour, and she can sleep through it anyway.

Good morning kids, it's Tamriel Time! I am also shamed to admit I'd listen to it.
Well, one of the great things about GWJ is that for every era that ends, there seems to be another one waiting in the wings. Sway, Ralcydan, and who can forget Makeskidskill's contributions left an unmistakable mark on this site, but it just keeps growing despite their departures.

Congratulations Fletcher! Good luck to you buddy.
I got a fever.... And the only prescription...is more cowbell!

First off congrats!!
I must say you guys did one hell of a job on the radio show.
Thanks for all the laughs and don't be a stranger to the forums. (if possible)

I don't know how big The Escapist, but the parent company looks to have a few pots on the cooker.

Yeah, since when did Fletcher aspire to my title, anyway? Pretender to the throne, get ye hence!
The market has much to answer for as to why gaming is NOT an art. -- illum
You know, I hadn't thought of it that way. It's absolutely true; everything moves on, and a great community like this is bound to move on to something else that's great.
So Fletcher, here's to you and what you brought to the site; it was fantastic, and hopefully not your last contributions around here. And here's to the next great thing that GWJ creates!
If you rule like Megatron, you're going to raise Starscream.
I've already expressed my thoughts to Fletcher in private - NO inappropriate touching was involved you malcontents - but it's no exaggeration to say that GWJ is losing a core member of our staff. Fletcher has guided GWJ over the past year more than most of you can know, and the multitude of ways in which he will be missed is staggering, but he couldn't be moving on to greener pastures. I am incredibly excited to see what influence Fletcher brings.
Ya know, it's funny you mention that ...
The thing about smart people is they seem like crazy people to dumb people -- Thing I saw on the Internet
Where's the love?
.
And of course... Big congrats, Fletch!
I've only listened to the first GWJ Radio podcast, and I'm a longtime Escapist subscriber, so I'll be reading those brilliant Fletcher articles anyway. So without any trace of selfishness I can say: congratulations Fletch! Keep posting here, if necessary under your second account
Congratz Fletcher! I am late to the party as usual. I have to say that it is bit sad to hear the news at first, I just got used to the community here, and now it is changing already.
Though I have no doubt that you will pop back and correct my horrible writing skills from time to time ;).
Great show guys.

Yeah, but if you set off the bomb in Megaton you are rewarded with a parking lot!

Pff...
I'll take you all to school!
Hey Fletcher! Congrats on the new opportunity. I've never really read The Escapist, but now I'll be sure to visit.
The radio show will be missed, but is there a better reason to put it on hold?
Best of luck!
Are you gettin' there Rabbit, are you gettin' there now?
Yes Lord, Lord, I'm gettin' there now.

Certis: Quintin is both smart and attractive.
Fedaykin98: Good lord, I wouldn't have expected brilliance like that from that nemeslut Quintin Stone!
Yonder: It's weird to say this, but Quintin Stone may be the wisest person here.
As would I. My nerd addiction to Oblivion knows no boundries.
I believe there is still an opening for the bathroom attendant..

Credulous at best, your desire to believe in angels in the hearts of men.
I've been thinking of doing something similar to GWJRadio for TG, but I really, really hate seeing GWJRadio die.

I haven't been able to let myself listen to the show past the point where you guys are saying you might as well go ahead and "say it"...but I will, I just need a little time. Honestly, I think hearing the xylophone theme at the end is going to make me shed real-live tears. The show has been magic, everyone involved has made it just that.
Fletch, congratulations! I wish you the very best in your new adventure, I'm going to miss you tragically. Nobody loves you like I do. (except for your Mom, your GF, your dog, most of your family, that guy that bought you the 360, and some other people that actually know you, of course )
Please continue to post, and if in posting you want to tell a little story in that bittersweet way of yours, well, that would be just dandy. I'll definitely be following your career, after all, you can't just stop stalking someone overnight now, can you? (threw that one in for old-time's sake)

Aw, shucks. And I just started catching up with my GWJ Radio backlog... Well, maybe it's better this way, now I'll savor the episodes I didn't hear yet, just like a last box of favorite candy that they don't make any more. I'll have to dose them carefully and maybe, just maybe they will last long enough to bridge the gap until resurrection of GWJ Radio...
Congratulations, Fletcher. I discovered Escapist when they were on issue No. 7, and got hooked instantly. Just like when, a couple of eternities ago, I stumbled upon an Infinite Lives comic, and found Gamers With Jobs. The Escapist is great, but you can make it better, and I am sure you will, Fletcher.
Congratulations pal, enjoy. You deserved it.

A much belated congrats, Fletcher!
It's sad to see the radio go defunct. You guys did such an excellent job putting it together. At the same time, I'm excited to see your influence at the Escapist, as well as how GWJ evolves to (attempt to) fill the void.

Fletcher congrats on getting a chance to do something you love for a living.
Was that a reference to Arnold's, "Not a tumor!" line?
By the way, is it wrong that I knew without having to "Google" it that At This Moment was done by Billy and The Beaters?

Yes. Now if you can name Alex's girlfriend I will officially disown you.

GWJ Radio meant a lot to me, Congrats Fletch, you guys were the BEST radio show and will miss the show a lot.
