That works, too. I would also take "bland loyalty" in honor of the game being Japanese.
I guess I'm on a media blackout with this game. I'm not worried about spoilers, but I simply don't care to see anything about it. I'll buy it, day one, sight unseen, no questions asked. How's that for brand loyalty?
This is Zelda we're talking about, so I'd say it is par for the course.
Some basic Zelda info and more Skyward Sword info, too. From an interview, posted at Gonintendo:
- Majora's Mask was done in Japan before localization in the states started
- Skyward Sword ties into Ocarina of Time
- Skyward Sword will be 'tremendously expansive'
- more puzzle and exploration than before
Spoilerish points on Skyward Sword:
Spoiler:
- Skyward Sword starts off in Skyloft
- The game kicks off with a series of events that sets Link on an adventure below the clouds to save Zelda
- the game involves lots of mystery elements, including why you can't quite catch up to Zelda when trying to rescue her
- there are a lot of new character races in Skyward Sword, more than what we've seen at E3
- you will visit familiar places in Skyward Sword, but they may or may not be part of Hyrule
These bits have raised my interest in the game exponentially... as if I needed more!
Release date has been given
November 20 in the US. I wish it wasn't the same timeframe as Skyrim but I would rather have two fun games to play than none.
Nicely done, mrtomaytohead. It's a day that makes sense, though, as it's right before the big spending spree that is the day after Thanksgiving.

Happy birfday to me!
For some odd reason I keep thinking that Zelda's big nose is a plot point in this one.
It's Legend of Zelda. Given how consistently good the games are, I can't agree that buying it sight unseen is brand loyalty; it's just very unlikely that Nintendo will f**k it up.
$70 gold remote bundle announced. It will also come with that music CD. I will probably pick that version up because my roommate doesn't have a motion plus thing for his Wii.
Doesn't include real gold... what? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
But what will I sell for food when the apocalypse comes and dollars are worthless?

Pre-order cancelled.

You need to buy a Wii2 for that.
Well, I'll probably get the motion plus edition, just because. I've got two black montion plus remotes now.
All Wiimotes now come with the motion plus inside the regular remote.
I has no Wiimotion Plus, and a controller is typically $40.
I'll save the $10 and get the gold controller.
Another great video showing this time showing the crafting system. I just love the way the game looks.
That looks pretty cool. It's been too long since I've played a Zelda game.

Lots of gameplay revealed. It looks amazing. I thought I wanted a new Zelda, now I know I want a new Zelda.
That was pretty incredible.
Seriously, that clear/white-ish cover looks just dumb and the white nunchuck makes me sad.
Yeah, but who actually plays Wii with the condom on other than people who don't know any better? It would be nice to have a gold nunchuk to go with the remote, though. Maybe I'll just paint one of my nunchuks.
Does anyone know if the non-bundle Zelda comes with a Motion Plus attachment? Doesn't matter to me, since I'm getting the bundle, just curious.

All Motion-Plus are now built inside the WiiMote, so now it's the same size as the original. We package the suckers by the thousands at work.
Well I was going to pre-order this on Amazon with some credit I had. But then I saw no release-date delivery. Then I looked and it's another Nintendo Sunday release.
Going to see if Best Buy might be doing a midnight. Otherwise I'm going to have to suck it up and pre-order from Gamestop. I want the bundle, and am not going to take the risk of picking one up at Walmart at midnight. Better to guarantee it.
Normally I'd agree, especially for a single player game. But that damn golden remote has me committed.
