Had some perfect afternoon sunshine for taking pictures yesterday.
I caught Haku in his favorite spot, the big tube in the cat tree:

Nice photos.
I agree with Strangeblades... gorgeous photos... beautiful cat. I especially like the one where he shows us his tongue.

Our girl does that tongue thing a lot, but it's usually hard to catch a photo. Very cute though.

I was too engrossed in James Clavell's Caribbean
Might it not have been James Michener's Shogun?

So, I look at this pic, but not who posted it. I see "the little tiny person" and think... OMG that looks just like ME!! SURPRISE!! It is me!! I didn't know that big orange thing in front of me had a big dog on the other side... I was too engrossed in James Clavell's Caribbean
edit: Actually, I thought - that person is wearing my shoes!!
edit again... yes, of course I knew it was James Michener! Thanks for pointing that out Katy.

I think the artist was trying to point at her hands but ran out of space.
Ash was hungry, and stared at me for about two hours before I finally fed him (it was too early for his dinner!)
Hey at least yours give you the "please" look, not the "or else!" look I get from mine.

You get looks? I just get loud meows. It's like living with a busted alarm clock that goes off:
1 Every three hours
2 Whenever someone comes home
3 When my wife goes to bed
4 When I go to bed
5 Whenever we wake up
6 When a can of fish is opened
7 Whenever the cat feels like it.
This is a video of my cat. My cat is awesome.
WATCH IT NOW.

Holy crap, you added a horse?!? She living with you or at a local ranch/farm/etc?
I'm just curious how much she's running you. That's a beautiful animal. Much more interesting than all these damn cats that people keep posting. :P
Initial costs were kinda high, but was expected. Buying the horse and getting a saddle etc etc. But after that, it's around CA$350 per month. That's with boarding,
and often we don't do that. So it's cheaper then. She stays at the same place we bought her. Is nearby and the ppl owning the place are really great.
As it is, she looks even better now. She has been ridden way more often and the muscle definition has improved quite a bit. Someone spotted her and offered more then double then what we bought here for. To be fair, we had quite a deal. We kept her of course.
Geez. Now I want a pony too.
How much does it generally cost to buy a horse like that?

Depending on age, training and breed as far as I know (n00b here...) it ranges between CA$2000 up to lots.
But the lower brackets are CA$2000 to CA$10000 I think. First horse so very new to this all.
And actually the mother of my children is the real proud owner now But the kids are also getting riding lessons
etc etc.
