I'm not meaning to sound impatient, it's just that some have been waiting a week to get accepted, and I thought maybe the person (or people) who have 'the keys' so to speak, maybe they're no longer interested in the game. I'll start a new group if that would help.
I would have invited you, but there's no link in your signature. :(
I didn't care so much about my invite, but was more concerned for a few others who'd been asking. I hope I didn't sound douchey in regards to starting a new steam group, I just honestly didn't know if the steam group was still kickin' or not. I know those can come and go along with interest in a game.
Cragmyre pointed out this site to me earlier:
The guy reviews DOTP 2012 from a single-player perspective, and has a lot of good things to say about it, not the least of which is an improved A.I. He seems to know what he's talking about, and says the game is great.
I'd forgotten I had invite powers
Got my invite! Thanks!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to the game, I loved the original DotP on Xbox and loved it even more when I picked it up cheap on the Steam sale and realized how nice it is to play it at PC resolutions and actually be able to see which cards are which even when you're not zoomed in on them.
*edit*
Nevermind, must remember to read to the end of the thread before replying.
I'm going to play the waiting game and hope for an early sale, the real reason of course is to let Checkm8 unlock decks and get a good ranking so when I crush him with noobie decks it destroys his spirit even further

I'll be glad to help if you have any questions. I only started playing 2 years ago, so there are far more knowledgeable players here than I, and I know some of them will also be happy to help.
MTG has a rep among the general public of being a geeky kid's game, but IMO, it really isn't. It's a very, very good strategy card game with a lot of depth to it. It'll be well worth learning!
You say that like it's a bad thing.

Or like the two are mutually exclusive

The game itself is also a good primer on Magic. Probably the best way to learn, at least in my experience.

Ok throw me in this category too.
Growing old is required... growing up is optional.
I can probably help with any questions on this game too. In my younger days I was more than a little obsessed with this game. I have about 7000 of the physical cards ranging from 4th Edition to Eventide with scatterings of cards before and after. Before 2012 was announced I was talking to my wife about throwing all of them into one big bundle for sale on eBay but this may rekindle my desire to hang onto them awhile longer and maybe make a few decks again.
Can I get sent an invite to the group? I am a newbie so I hope thats ok
I actually never got an invite. Help a noob out?
Link in sig.
Grubber, looks like someone already got you.
Cobble, can you give me a link? I'm not seeing you right away.
Edit: I only have invite, not promotion power
Has it been released? I don't see a countdown.
Edit: All set for the group. Thanks!
I'm happy to promote more active group members, but as it's set up any member can invite.
