Not too shabby at all. Enough teases... lets get this game on the road, please.
Very nice callback to the SI video, with her stealth failing miserably
As a habitual soloer I'm really interested in how the companions are going to work out. If I can play a Vanguard and have an AI companion putting out dps then I'll be a happy camper.

I believe that's how things are supposed to work from what's been announced - there will be a variety of companions, so you can play as DPS, Heal or Tank and still be a valid solo-er.
So EA will be debuting a new Steam-like digital distribution network called Origin presumably with TOR.
Surprisingly, I don't hate this idea. The EA digital store has had some pretty sweet deals in the past and as convenient as it would be if there was only a single platform for games (steam), competition is good for everyone.
I would be less concerned about this if Bad Company 2 had a less bone-headed account system. I'm worried that EA hasn't learned their lessons from the serious mistakes they made implementing many of the features in BC2 that will need to be in Origin and that this could impact the usability of SWTOR.

EDIT: Apparently it's launching today? But this will host TOR exclusively
Nevertheless, I'm anticipating that there will be some cool stuff seen at E3.
An open beta date would be fine with me. Anyone heard anything about Torchlight 2? I was counting on that to tide me over until SWTOR came out.
Gamespot has a E3 in-game SWTOR video, and interview. First glimpse of mounts, which will be vehicle only at launch.
We'll have a first look at some boss fights and will be taking the wraps off our end-game content. We are also going to be debuting the grand conclusion to Blur's amazing CG trilogy and will have a few more surprises thrown in as wellLooks like they're taking care of half my E3 wishes :)
Sounds like they're finally completing the picture of their game, so we can get an idea what the game will be like to play.
If I could go to E3, I would pull aside someone at the SWTOR booth and try to get them to tell me whether there were plans to expand the variety of player ships after launch. That's really all I want to know at this point.
I think it is safe to assume that they will add more player ships post launch and they have already confirmed that the ships will be customizable (probably by spending currency earned in the space mini-game).
Oh, and guild capital ships are on the drawing board but not likely for launch.

That's one thing that annoys me about SW in general. I'm playing Jedi Knight 2 at the moment, and the music was very quickly turned off as John Williams' score and music like it is just overused in everything SW. It may be good, but everything gets annoying after the third loop.

That's one of the things that I love about the games, actually - that score did more for the success of the movies than anything Lucas came up with

I've been on near total media blackout for this game other than this thread and those cinematic trailers. Here's hoping we get a third and final one next week.
E3 Trailer is up.

Ooooh. That's what Bad Ferret posted. I just saw Gamespot E3 video and didn't click on it. Shame on me.

You'll be missing out on a lot if you do that over the next few days. Usually most of the good videos first appear at some site like gametrailers or IGN.
We're supposed to be getting a new video each day of the conference.
FYI I start a new job Monday. So i wont be posting anything until later in the afternoons this week.
Grats on the job, what will you be doing?
