If you could have one unreleased PC game RIGHT NOW, what would it be?

Oh, and kudos to the thread for being picked on the conference call. I feel special, so you all should too

Except none of them picked Spore or Supreme Commander, so they're wrong. Just wrong!

I would love to play a new Zork or Grim Fandango, but its my belief that easy access to clues via the internet has contributed to the downfall of adventure games. Failing that, System Shock 3 baby!

Also, Road Rash and Mutant League Football for the 360 would be (will be? I can hope!) sweet.

Spore.

Oh yes, most definitely Spore.

Front Page Sports Football Pro 06

That would be all I need. Damn, I still miss this game.

Additions to the list, now with Actual Games:

-Crysis
-S.T.A.L.K.E.R
-Kane & Lynch
-Gothic 3

This thread is so interesting from the perspective of 2011. Some of you are still around, and many of the games mentioned have now been released (and some have even gotten their own sequels). Fun times.

Wow... LOL. That was kind of cool for a lunch time read.

Not to mention the first. And that was 5 years ago!

Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Since it hasn't been mentioned here yet.

We've seen 2 new franchises get 2 games each since the last 'episode' Sigh... blah blah blah, where is it, blah blah... I demand you produce

*Chuckles at all the votes for Spore*

Vindicated!

There is no vindication for those who use qualifiers.

Fallout 3, as long as it lives up to the rest of the series.

You shut your filthy whore mouth!

Does "A good graphical battletech MMO" count?

I didn't post back then, but even though it wasn't announced, I would have said Thief 4. Now that it is, I still would.

Without a doubt. D3 and Arkham City are my two most anticipated games.

Carmageddon 4

Thief 4, Skyrim, and Secret World. Not that Secret World would be a day 1 purchase, but I hope it does well.

Now that Starcraft 2 is out I can change my vote!

SC2: Heart of the Swarm please!

Diablo 3 in close second, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution in third.

Everything else is meh.

wait wait wait wait wait.

That's out? There's a mech-based MMO and I was unaware? I'll soon be firing my staff.

Ran, you play everything, any good?

Wow great old topic.

Currently Mass Effect 3 for me, I think.

After Torchlight, I'm about equally torn between wanting its sequel and Diablo 3, so that's not as high on the list.

Was in the beta and the interface tries to mimic EVE but its still a bit lacking. Still for a mech game... it kinda scratches the itch.

Elite 4 !

Hopefully I'll look back on this thread laughing... some day in 2020

Currently, I'd say Bioshock: Infinite, Mass Effect 3, and the new Batman are at the top of my list. And, sure enough, they're all sequels.

I like new stuff, and I'll happily buy it, but I don't look forward to it in the same way, because I usually don't know much about it until after the purchase.

Diablo 3 has been on my #1 want list for years and years.

Even more, they are all basically console games.

It was a quaint time when PC gaming actually mattered. And I say this as I am currently trying rationalize building a new PC for playing Deus Ex: HR and some other games.

And between 2006 and now, we got another vaporware 3025-era Battletech game to be disappointed about!
