Tanks: Carg, Open
Heals, Mogl, Zeered, Leth
DPS: Shank, Tyr, Hoofs, Tk (Frost ), ZeroKFE

Carg will need to go Ret for Dargon BFFs
I'd really like to see ALL our tanks naked.

There's so many freckles!

You guys are just SOO funny!!!

If you would like Carg to tank Dragon BFF's I can park Openminded at the entrance and switch for the fight.

I can not have a nice raiding spec and tank heroics. I need different things, so I am going to have to stay duel prot specs.

I change my heal spec around a ton.
You can build a macro for it (actually, some fancy website builds it for you), and just fire off the macro once you unlearn all your talents. Super easy, and only costs 66g.

since I know you wont change your ways ;), might be better to park your shamanasty at the door, since I'm sure her DPS is slightly better than Carg's Ret DPS.

The spec is decent, and the gear is mostly decent, it's just my skill that's completely lacking. Time to go hit some practice dummies so I don't get laughed out of the raid with my 7k DPS. Ret just has so many stupid buttons to keep track of, it would drive me crazy if I wasn't already there. I also need to remember to bribe some alchemists to make me some more Truegold so I can make the breastplate. I might just buy the Justice one in the meantime since I've pretty much run out of other things to spend them on.

I was thinking of trying to steal an interested healer (like one who is ditching us most of this week, Oily) and going to practice Al'Akir phase 1. He doesn't hit horribly hard, but the lightning wouldn't chain that much with less people, so I'm not sure if it would be survivable with only two or three people. The idea not being to kill him, or even really damage him much more than it takes to hold aggro, but just to sit there in Phase 1 and survive as long as possible, to practice dodging tornadoes and Wind Bursts.

Losing a DPS or a Healer for 10-15 seconds while they fly back up could be bad and get us killed, but if the tank gets knocked off, the boss just channels Electrocute and the tank's dead. I figure maybe if a healer and I can hang out there and the damage is minimal enough that we can at least hold our own, I can get in some practice without having to get nine other people killed every time I screw it up.

It isn't like I'm not trying! The next time you organize a community-wide event, have your wedding anniversary and your brother-in-law's birthday, I'll be sure to go easier on you.

Not my fault no one else could go today =)

Trust me good sir, you were not even close to the only person screwing things up. Don't stress it, we can all learn it together. Though you are encouraged to try anything that gets Oily killed more than a few times.

You are right about that! I have like 7 toons to support to your 1. I do not have that kinda of money. I just roll another toon

I'd log in to heal H Halfus

I'm a horrible human being.

One of my uncles just called to say he'll be coming through town tomorrow and would like to grab dinner with me. Clearly this doesn't mix well with raiding, so I'm afraid I have to remove my availability for tomorrow. Hopefully you do have an alternate option available (I think you said you might yesterday?).

Anyway, very sorry to screw things up at the last minute yet again, but, well, yeah. Sorry.

No worries. Max will fill in. Plus that gives TK the ability to go fire for the evening.

Thurs BoT 7:30 Through Council, then on to BH or possibly call it a bit early.
Tanks: Carg, Open
Heals, Mogl, Zeered, Leth
DPS: Shank, Tyr, Hoofs, Tk (Fire ), Max

For Sunday, I'm a geared healer short of a heroic Halfus attempt. Though we may be better off sticking to Akir, which I have a mostly viable raid for.

I will be ready for thursday raid. Let's go, team awesome!...and grinds.

Shank is the only toon that has not seen a single progression night yet, so while I'm aware that putting two Ass Rogues in a run is less than ideal, this fight is about dancing and not necessarily optimized groups.

I have been pretty close to pulling the trigger on two survival hunters in a raid (only to be foiled at the last minute by cancellations and what not). DPS wise "Ass" rogues are supposed to be pretty good on Al'Akir.

I have met Mr. Akir once. We did not get along, he and I.

Sunday - Al Akir 7:30
Tank: Lawk, If we are having trouble with the adds we'll swap in Shank's tank
Heals: Rantin (I know, right), Zeered, Open spot
DPS: Grinds, Max, Shank, Open, Zero, TK

Back-up: Anriis & Carg

Shank is the only toon that has not seen a single progression night yet, so while I'm aware that putting two Ass Rogues in a run is less than ideal, this fight is about dancing and not necessarily optimized groups.

I need a main-spec healer to fill in. If no one takes the spot, either myself or Grinds can heal it. But natch, a main-spec would be preferred. This will bring Anriis into the fold, and possibly Carg. Please check back frequently.

I can't speak for Mogl but I more than made up any gear he took from me. No biggie.

I'm still angry at Act for taking that haste cloak, though.

Act took my wrists too. The nerve of that bastard winning an open roll!

My shaman is prepped as resto and I am still available Sunday if you need someone to fill the slot.

So we're agreed, everyone hates Act?

I don't hate Act. Act made a lot of my mats into Truegold, for free. Act is my friend.

I hope you'll still heal me, though, and not let me die like you do to TK all the time, even if I just totally ruined your broad, sweeping generalization.

We'll see. And for the record, I don't "let" TK die (all the time). His inability to not get aggro and/or not to stand in stuff is pretty monumental.

I think that is a good quality.

Could TK really just be Grinds dual-boxing?
