Sweet! With names like these, how in Sam Hill can you go wrong? I think we'll need to change Roger's last name to Pain, though.

Nice! 5 4 stars signed this week, and the 3 star SS has some pretty good ratings.

DS, Saturday is going to be the best bet for me, my wife has a baby shower sometime during the day.

ND bests Kent St, 68-0. Not much to say except that Heisman frontrunner Cierre Wood rushed for 275 yes and 3 TDs. He won't be a factor for the Heisman by the end of the season.

Finished my recruiting I picked up a 4 star TE that Hansom and Kush will going after. Still a little disappointed that Northwestern jumped ahead of me, but all I can do is complain to the media.

Fire and I play in a few weeks so that'll be one less team to contend with come BCS time.

I can absolutely gaurentee you, that Rutgers did not speak to Eddie Smith once. So no, you did not pick up a TE that I was going for. MSU gets that credit, as they nabbed Max Williams from me.

So you ignored him. I guess that's why he was so pissed and wanted to come to Pittsburgh. He is delighted that he gets to play against Rutgers for the next 4 years!

I got a 3* DT from Pitt's grasp. Not as awesome but it fills a big need.

I didn't realize you even stooped to recruiting 3* players...

Apparently the allure of early playing time at LSU isn't impressive to high caliber defensive tackles.

So, you're telling me I should run right up the middle in a few weeks time?

Might as well. I think they are only like 85-90 overalls in the middle.

You might want to flip that around. You scared me for a second. I think you beat up on UK!

I hate bye weeks.

I have two in a row after my big match-up with LSU in a few weeks. My players will probably need it to recover from either their injuries or the post-game party, whichever is appropriate.

My remaining schedule includes two cupcakes (Navy, Army) and three heavyweights in LSU, USC, and Rutgers to finish out the season. Should be interesting!

Okay. If you can play before then I am available all week after 6pm PST. So feel free to hit me up if something changes.

edit...oops, sorry Jay

Indiana gives me more of a game than I expected, but I held on to win 38-24.

My D shut them down, but turnovers and ridiculous roughing penalties let them back into the game.

Fitzy has another big game, 230 and 3.

Boise State beats Hawaii.

Not much more to report, but I did throw quite a few picks in the game. I also threw for a lot of yards.

I will get my game in on Thursday vs Syracuse.

I really don't want to be at work today, I need a mental health day.

I won't be able to get mine in until tomorrow night. Tonight is D&D night.

Edit: Also, this is definitely my last season as Houston. The defense is slow and unresponsive and the O-line is almost useless. I lost my star QB for the season in my simmed game against Hansom. My game against LSU is going to be a farce.

I'll finish out the season with the Cougs, but I'm switching to Tech for Season 4.

Baby shower is at 11am, would somewhere around that work for you?

Sure.

Houston pulls off another crushing of a C-USA opponent despite missing their starting QB. Clearly don't belong in C-USA any more but also can't hang with the big boys yet.

That's probably not fair. If you could play a big boy run by the CPU, you would probably be fine. But going heads up with a human with drastically lesser talent is pretty hard to overcome.

You get penalized becasue of your conference. I'm going to get a chance to play several ranked teams during my season. I can't bet the big boys in the OD, but I can win my share of Big 12 games. So I can get ranked, while you won't get the same credit for your wins.

Whenever you want to switch over to Texas Tech, just let me know. I am thinking that the best time would be during the bowl season. You can play Houston's bowl and then switch over to Texas Tech (unless another human player is playing them) to get familiar with the players and then you can work on the recruiting and offseason as well.

3 games left (really 2):

Tennessee vs. Georgia #11 (Coolbeans)
Washington #7 (Redhwk) vs. Oregon State (DSGamer)
Syracuse vs. Rutgers (Kush15)

Maybe switch over and win their bowl game instead of playing Houston's. (if they have one)

Pretty sure I'll get a bowl as Houston. Still have LSu and Georgia to face, but I should win the C-USA championship which I believe guarantees me a bowl game.

I suppose it doesn't really matter when you make the jump.

Leroyog wrote:

You are probably right, but I figured he would want to see the season through as Houston. After that, playing the bowl game as Texas Tech would be an added bonus and see how the system has done his recruiting for the offseason.
