WOW BHA H-WotLK Runs Fridays @ 8PM

I'm not sure if I should be offended or not...I only consider those who play Pokemon to be nerds...

What the hell is pokemon?

Gotta catch em all!!

Just a bump to remind everyone that there will be a continuation this Friday at the same time (8PM).
Really need a few more people to make 25-H a possibility.

Don't forget to pick up some booze for Friday night. Crimson Hall is going to be a little tougher than what we experienced last week, but if people are paying even a little bit of attention we should get up to LK without too many wipes. LK will take some time no matter how you slice it, but if we get lucky we could be working on heroic next week.

I just learned that I have to take my boys to a baseball game Friday night. Sorry, Anriis won't be able to join you guys this week. I'll get my revenge next week, I hope.

Your buffed eleventybillion DPS shall be missed.

We not gonna make it tonight

"I don't dance with gingers" wins the night.
A close second is "ref*ck".

Awesome time tonight folks.
Going to work on H-LK first thing next week.
Really, awesome time.

My head hurts... was fun all.

also funny and

Definitely do your research on Heroic LK. Even at 85, Defile will f*ck your sh*t up.

I don't remember either line, I hope I got one! Brain went offline at about Prof Putricide but apparently I was functional through to Sindy? or just walking into a wall somewhere and you were all kind enough to not boot my flammable ass?

You were there, although on Valinthra everyone thought you were basically asleep at the keyboard. We ended up four or five-healing the encounter because she just wasn't gaining life fast enough to beat the enrage timer and we got swarmed by about a hundred skeletons from each side and got waxed. I think three times we wiped on that one before everyone switched out to their healers so we could get past it.

Even basically asleep at the keyboard you were still outhealing a couple people, though, so don't feel too bad.

Please read for tomorrow:

I'm going to wrap up our 10 man heroic fist thing tomorrow. It might take 45 minutes, or the entire evening. Really depends on how well people do with Defile. If at any point it stops being fun, we are going to stop and go find something else to do (Hard mode Ulduar). I have faith in us though. Especially when we are fresh and relatively un-buzzed.

You probably want to make sure you have the WotLK component of Deadly Boss Mods installed (assuming you have the main mod) for timers and announcements of Shadow Traps and Defiles: http://deadlybossmods.com/downloads.php

I delete old folders when I install a new version of a mod so I was missing them when we first went in.

Well done tonight folks.
While defile did f*ck our sh*t up, we were able to pull it together and best him.
We also made a ton of progress on Ulduar HMs. Depending on attendance next week we'll continue Ulduar HMs or start a fresh ICC.

Check your calendars. I'll be shooting out an invite to all level 85 toons level that are Alt rank or above.

Big sorry to Anriis. Felt bad leaving him behind on the run. Ulduar shouldn't present too much of an issue to run 25m next week with 11+, so we'll be able to get everyone in.

We also proved that sacrificing 2 laserchickens is enough of a buff to kill heroic LK.

Wahoo! No work this coming Saturday, so I'm in!

Could you shoot me (Jorrn) an invite or keep me on the bench as an alternate? My crew is gone Friday night (which means my calendar is empty), and I'd rather stay home and paint rather than hang out with a bunch of hippies and get ticks and/or poison ivy. Also, I'm still in "New members" territory.

I'd even re-spec ret and find a two-handed something-or-other if need be. My gear ilvl is around 320 -- I'm not sure what you need in there.

There's room for ya Enix. No worries there.

Get a hold of myself or Max in-game to get your toons raised to the proper rank.

We could make better use of you as Ret, but either way we'll make it work. Perhaps make Carg go Ret for the practice, as he's been taking all the tanking glory for the last few weeks.

If I had to tanking, I'd actually have to learn the fights. Ret means never having to do anything but faceroll. :D

God, I wish. Maybe I should just completely ignore every proc that I get and just play Ret as a straight rotation. I take too long figuring out how many of my procs have fired and what the durations on my abilities are and deciding what to hit next. It's too easy to get confused.

Prot, on the other hand, has a very mathematically sound rotation with a very well-established and solid order where I know about two minutes in advance what button I have to hit next. It lets me think things through when I'm fighting, so I have plenty of time to figure out how not to do things like proximity aggro Freya or run into tornadoes and die. Please don't ask how that's worked out so far.

I resemble that remark. Got to get rid of more clothes I guess. :p

Awesome, thanks. I've been mulling a ret re-spec anyway, so this is my excuse.

If I had to tank, I'd actually have to learn the fights. Ret means never having to do anything but faceroll.

That's why I just roll my face across the keyboard. Eventually my nose hits the right button and I crit for eleventy billion.

What?! That's no longer true in Cataclysm?

Well, heck, I've got four days to L2P ret. How hard can it be?

But I'll bring my tank suit just in case y'all need me to sit in the corner and not take any damage.

This is pretty much all I do...

I like to stand in stuff.

Eppyrose wants to run the Friday night raids ...

IF your going to try ret, take a look at the addon CLRET. It basically tells you the rotation.

Not positive if I'll be around for this tonight. I'll pop on if I get a chance. Have fun folks!

@ Bill: Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out. The thing about ret, there doesn't seem to be a rotation, not like tanks have (and not like ret used to have). Nowadays it seems to be mostly a matter of keeping Inquisition up and dealing with the Divine Purpose and Art of War procs.

@ Lawk: Put me in the "doubtful" column for tonight. My crazy life ...

Just ran LK raid with fellow GWJs and it was AWESOME!

You guys are great fun to raid with - thanks for helping out a first time noob (and not "cussing" me when I left Aspect of the Pack on).

I am going to try and come out for more of these since I've been playing for a year and never really done any of the dungeons or raids at all.
