Wanted, webmaster for a website to coordinate all this nonsense. The site itself can be pretty simple and you'll have loads of design stuff already made to work with.

Google Sites lets you do dead easy stuff on the info delivery and coordination front: HedgeCon.net

But if you want to get all uppity with an interactive super site, then by all means...

Maybe that site is good enough for you but I'm looking for something a little... grander ;p

Anyway, job has been filled =)

So I know SallyNasty was tentative, but I am offering to start organizing for the western carpool. PM those emails.

If you show, I will personally hand you a beer.

If I was still in Ky I'd certainly be in for a drive with the others. But it looks highly unlikely from down here at the beach. Still tagging to wait and see a date/plans as they are finalized.

PM sent.

My tentative could become very firm indeed, sir.

I...

heh. Nothing to say to that, really.

Tagging thread in hopes that this occurs over the summer.

hehe Firm!

If boogle comes, I feel like I am going to be meeting a legend. I am nervous!

btw the minecraft server running all weekend is an amazing idea!

If it's in fall/late fall, I've got better odds of being able to make it.

Thanks, I only steal ideas from the best =)

I would really love to come but I think my finances might not allow it. The later it is the more likely I am to make it.

However, if it's on International Goodjer Day I could be persuaded to host something at my place.

It will most certainly be on IGWJD.

But when is IGWJD? Who knows!

Oh, the anticipations! I have all of them!

I thought it was made clear that it would be the next to last weekend in October? I'd hate to think you've forgotten already...

You're thinking of last year.

We'll announce a date for this year when we can but I would steer you away from speculation.

Ah, well, I'll speculate to myself then.

You are going to go blind!

If you make me drive on my birthday I will drive up there just to slap you penguin.

Hey, if that's what it takes to get you here.

It's worth it.

I've seen pictures of you, are you sure you hand wouldn't just shatter on my manliness?

If Boogle has any one limb that can stand-up to constant torment, it would be his good (right?) hand..

I switch hit.

I was talking with Elewis and had a good idea.

I'll make a sign-up sheet so we can track when people's flights come in and hopefully organize trips/party bus to pick people up from the airport.

I made Bent rent a car last year and I still feel bad.

If and when I find a hotel, they might have a pickup service as well.

God damn it, I really need a f*cking functional lottery ticket.

I live quite close to the Pittsburgh airport, however I was hoping to come up a bit early and help out setting things up. That may not jive with flight schedules.

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about people flying into Pittsburgh.

We'll see, Mike. I'm hoping we can arrange things so no one person has to handle transporting people from any specific place.

We'll see =)

I admit I skimmed a bit of the thread, but why would people fly into Pittsburgh again? If you're having this where we discussed the other day, the location is less than 30 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins, but over 2 hours from Pittsburgh.

Edit: And to do a bit of the research for you (see, I can do actual work too Penguin!), this is from the site for the place I think you're holding this:

CLE 27 miles North West of Hotel, no shuttle avail, taxi service is approximately $80.00 one way, Limo service for approximately $40.00. Akron/Canton Airport is 25 miles South of Hotel, taxi service is approximately $80.00 one way, Limo service for approximately $40.00 one way.

Portably a lot easier/cheaper to get a flight into Pittsburgh.
