Does this mean I should go back to playing spy? It felt good to play it again last night, to be honest. It was a nice change of pace.

No, I am opposed to this. You'll just exploit the fact that I never use the Razorback.

Actually, never mind. Do it. Grubber's Folly is hungry.

One less axtinguisher pyro to ruin my steel fists boxing fun. Yay!

Also, Mex, if you could go back to playing medic instead of constantly dominating me as a demo that would be great. I mean, not that you aren't going to dominate me as a medic too, it's just less humiliating.

Walking out of spawn on part 2 of Goldrush.

"Remember when Mex used to only play medic?"

"What, when he used to be really good and heal everyone and we all loved him, unlike now when he is really good and kills everyone and makes us all sad?"

Oh God, it's so true!

I think I played some of my worst TF2 in like a year last night. Ugh. On the plus side, we did have that all heavy offense on Badwater, and apparently some pubbie was trying to teach Mex how to play demo better. Because, you know, he's a noob and all that :D

Don't worry, Cheeba defended Mex's honor.

That guy had advice for everyone. He was hilarious (in an I'm not laughing with you way). Messing with pubbies like him is fun for all (well, at least me).

I love messing with know-it-all pubbies! Sorry I missed that

Also, I miss kk medic Mex

Yeah that dude was actually complaining about the team on the last point of Steel - which we won. Earlier he had said something to Mex about he should use the regular sticky bomb launcher all the time or something. I said, "wait, are you telling Mex how to play demo?" and he said "yeah." I didn't want to get into it with him so I mostly let it go after that, lol.

Oh, and Brainz I musta taken your mojo last night, because I rocked at soldier on Steel. Not that soldier is a high-skill class like spy or anything, but boy it's fun to not have to set up every stab and get into position and all that, and just shoot at people's feet until they gib.

Yeah instant kills are very hard to do! =P

Oh, that guy, yeah at first I thought he was talking to someone else, because he was saying how demos should not use the scottish resistance on offense...

So he was basically telling me not to use a weapon I wasn't using

Jerk.

Really? It's better for your ego if he dominates you without even having to get his own hands dirty? If he can crush and humiliate you purely through using pawns?

...diff'rent strokes, I guess...

I think the problem is that when you use a name tag on a stickybomb launcher the game skins it as a scottish resistance.

Hah, Melee only shenanigans last night was pretty fun, even if it was just a few of us on..

Similar happens for Pyros who have tagged their axes or maybe it's just a Degreaser glitch. I have seen several pyros light someone up and then the animation shows them chopping with a degreaser. The kill icon shows as the axe kill.

Pretty sure that's just the fact that the weapon switch is so fast that the game doesn't keep up.

I was wondering about that. I saw Mex carrying what looked like the Scottish Resistance, but firing normal stickies. I just figured that was Mex doing whatever the F*** he wanted with TF2.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me in the least if this was the case. He does whatever he wants in other ways, so it's no surprise to me

Mex was dueling Psych and thoroughly beating him; I was sad when Mex dropped and Psych won by default.

Yeah, but even I thought that was lame. But I also thought Mex getting a pocket medic while we were dueling was lame, since it was KOTH mess around time.

Also, I messaged Mex to find out what was up. Apparently he was hungry. Because destroying Psych works up quite a hunger.

I'm about to give up on duels period. Results of my last dueling minigame:

*Draw
*Draw
*Opponent spends more than half the round sniping from spawn - loss
*Draw

So I'm 0-1-3 at this point. It would be nice to get one win out of this stupid thing.

*Challenge pubby, he refuses
*Challenge pubby, he refuses
*Get fed up, what the hell, I'll challenge Mex: lose badly

Stupid dueling minigame. Bleh.

Yeah, it shows me hammering things with the degreaser all the time, and the only pyro weapon I have named is the degreaser itself.

Hey now, I only got my pocket medic when we were like 5-0...

I think it was like 7-1 at one point, and I had been playing for a long time and I figured it was obvious who won so I didn't want to wait any longer, I need my food man

edit: Oh yeah, this post was to announce that I set up the Pub server for the Tournament so don't be surprised if it's locked ok

Feel free to challenge me. I've never won one either.

I like duels. I only challenge Goodjers and I try not to challenge someone who's either doing well against me or I'm doing well against, although that can happen just because I challenge random people without really paying attention.

So feel free to duel me. I have a few left I need to use up too.

That was hilarious.

So is there a game tonight? Do we need to try to get a regular game going on the private?

(Also, what's the post-colon IP for the private? 27015 or 27016?)

Two tourney games. But probably be one after we break at 10pm EST

I think if you just don't include the port number and click the "find games at this address" button it'll sort that out automatically.

At this point, I don't even bother entering in the information. There's enough people floating around on my friendslist that I just join that game.
