I'm interested in seeing where they're going for this. Is it going to be like the guild with the fun 4th wall ignoring, or is it going to be a semi serious fantasy project?

That said, I dunno that I am down for pure marketing material ever... (I already preordered it anyway -_-)

Per her twitter:

Felicia Day
It is more dramatic, JUST like the game! RT: @Liddokun Is the webisodes gonna have a serious story or comedic like The Guild ? #dragonage

So she's gonna wander around covered in gore?

BRUSH YOUR TEETH, FELICIA!

Ah, dammit, now I have to buy DA2.

Haha, Rat Boy, totally off topic, but I went to high school with Brian Wilson. He was odd back then, but nowhere near what he is now.

Wait now... did you just accuse Felicia of having nasty teeth? So much for being on our best behavior!

Dammit, man, I'm trying!

Another picture in character from this article

I'm looking forward to it!

If she's "method", maybe she has to have brown DA:O teeth for the role...

According to the twitter account for The Guild, Felicia is going to be on Fallon tomorrow night.

So anyone gonna commit this one for the Goodjer Commandments?

Also with Lady Elysium and Felicia Day, looks like we might have the power to summon anything to our will...Who wants to summon Cathulu?

I would, but I'm afraid she'd read them. Ah, what the hell...

Side-effects include major loss of productivity. If you're laughter lasts more than four hours, consult a doctor immediately.

We had TWIT.tv's Sara Lane drop in after getting some criticism a few months back, too.

That was SommerMatt and LockAndLoad's faults. It was seriously funny.

I heard someone started a thread here, want to thank you for spreading the word about the series, and thank you for your support, it really means a lot. I hope I do you proud adapting the universe of DA to screen, I "researched" for months hehe. BTW, DA2 is super fun, you'll love it.

Did that just really...

AWESOME!

Thanks for coming by, we all hope it goes great for you!

I'm glad to see Felicia getting a chance to do some "serious" stuff. It has to be gratifying as an actor to branch out. I primarily know her from The Guild and her improv stuff. Has she done "serious" (I keep putting that in quotes so as not to imply her work so far hasn't been meaningful) roles that I have missed? I'm not the worldliest consumer of entertainment media.

I'm also intrigued to see how they portray the world of the Dragon Age series in a live action format. As great as Dragon Age was, I just didn't get hooked on the world. I dug it more for the interpersonal drama and the set pieces.

Edit: Man, my old-man brain is failing me. I completely forgot I spent dozens of hours with her character crossing the New Vegas wasteland uncovering sinister plots.

Oh yeah, this thread's not creepy at all.

She did an insanely great job as a patient of the week on an episode of House. This clip doesn't do her performance justice, but it's what I found.

Buffy. Terminator Sara Connor Chronicles. Think she had a guest spot on House.

I imagine the sets will all consist of small, fenced-off areas of grassland with a path running through them and the odd cart strewn around for dramatic effect. Think the "yellow brick road" set from the Wizard of Oz stuffed full of Orcs instead of midgets.

Thanks for coming over, Felicia! Your work is really appreciated here, and we'll try to stay on our best behavior

I make no such guarantee, but I do look forward to the new series.

As long as we keep Legion out of the thread we should be fine.

I just wanted to be a part of this.

Don't remember TSCC. Are you thinking Dollhouse, the show that stayed on so they could cancel TSCC? Are you trying to get me to renew my war with the JWFBP?

Man, Dollhouse was sooo good and Sarah Connor Chronicles was sooo bad.

Crap, you're right. I watched both of those short run series back to back most weeks, so they blur together in my brain.

How cool is Felicia actually stopping by?

Thank you! We all wish you the best in this new project

I liked them both. I thought SCC got better and better as it went on. Hated to see them both get canceled.

I thought Terminator was pretty enjoyable actually and I couldn't stand dollhouse.

I was gonna go with this one:

Dollhouse had potential, and the Felicia Day episodes were pretty darn awesome. But season one of Dollhouse was just horrible. But it became clear that Fox was going to keep just one of the the two, and I thought SCC had really self-corrected from a faulty start and had become one of my favorite shows on TV at the time.

To be fair, as I am not wont to do on this subject, the cliffhanger that SCC concluded on was going to really alter what the show was in a pretty significant way. It might have been a rough season to pull off. And Dollhouse did show signs of life in season two, but it didn't come close to really nailing down an identity like SCC did in its second season.

But hey, now we have Fringe on Fox Fridays, and that's WAY better than either.
