What is this Gladius you speak of?
I Googled it. Sweet, I'll get it for sure.
InterruptBar is another mod that is simple but effective for tracking enemy interrupt cooldowns. However, I think it be kind of pointless in 5s. 2s and 3s its good to have for sure. 5s probably has too much going on for it to be of much use.
What time/day is the 5v5 normally? Added a few pieces of PvP gear, went from 1300 to 2000 resil. Just have to remember I have the trinket now, when I need it.
If we have 6 people tonight, I don't mind sitting out. I'd like to get my disc/shadow priest to 85 and geared out.
Count me out guys. I haven't been able to get past the loading screen for the past 45 minutes.
Sorry I wasn't on. Been pretty sick the last few days.
I'm up for some Horde killin', KG. I'm taking the slow boat to 85 for my prot paladin. If you're in the market for a holy or ret paladin for BGs and whatnot, we'll talk. Jorrn was ret for most of his life. Holy would be a new thing.
Also, Discco (my lvl 13 priest) will be hitting BGs during his leveling process. Anyone who wants to do some low-level PvP, let me know.
Ranalin's death knight popped 85.
I want to encourage people to get their newer toons into the PVP system. I will be more than happy to make space on the 2 man team to get people set on gear. For the rest of us 2s make no difference on our points or gear.
Seeing the dmg meters wtih my DK compared to my hunter right now is comical.
new on the PTR!!!
Shapeshifts: Entering or leaving a shapeshift no longer cancels root effects. It continues to cancel movement slowing effects.
This is huge!
First, they took this away from all druids. Then they gave it back to restos. Then they gave it back to moonkins. Now they're taking it back again. Come on Blizzard...
Ya know Enix? I would love it if we had a competent pally on our 3 or 5.
Competent? Crap. There you go setting the bar high.
Picked up 600 - 700 resilience over the last week, and moving from 2001 resil to the high 2600 resil has made a noticeable difference. I'm hoping we can get some arenas run this weekend, so I can get my conquest weapon, which will put me just over 3k.
With the exception of some gathering expeditions wth my other toons i'm planning on spending the chunk of my weekend doing pvp with my DK.
I'll spend most of the weekend on the druid. Tried gearing the priest but I don't have it in me to do that honor grind twice, lol.
I'll be around...if you guys getting geared need a healer for some easy wins, give me a shout.
Blue]We’re in the process of developing a hotfix to push before next Tuesday that will change all 15vs15 rated battleground weeks into 10vs10 weeks.
Looking at participation, the 10vs10 rated battleground weeks have been far and away more popular than the 15vs15 weeks. The difference in organizational requirements as well as battleground map popularity have been a couple big factors that have led to the 10vs10 weeks seeing a great deal more action. By making this change and supporting the popular option we hope to encourage even more players and teams to participate, as they won’t have to wait out every other week, or struggle to beef up to 15 players to match the requirement.
We also have plans to adapt additional battleground maps in the future to work in the 10 player bracket to increase the variety of maps available.
Shaman healers in arena have been annoying as all get out.
Enix. What were you thinking of your end game being with Sherman? I have been checking the roster intently. While nerfed a bit, Shaman are still powerful in PVP.
Not sure yet, KG. Sherm is part of the Team Jacob Monday night crew, so he won't be maxed out till well into the spring. Of my three toons here, he's probably the least likely to run BGs. He's not very mobile right now -- all of his heals and all damage casts except for earth shock require him to stand his ground. Maybe that will change (or maybe I need to change spec), but I'm not seeing the BG love for shaman right now.
However, I've got two other toons who are/will running BGs.
Jorrn, my paladin, hit 83 over the weekend. He should be 85 within a couple of weeks, and then I need to turn him loose on some BGs. He's a PvE tank with a prot build for PvP. You mentioned you were looking for a PvP paladin for arenas and BGs. I'd like to stick with prot (because he can beat down every other melee class in the game), but can go ret (which I played until the 70s) or holy (would be completely new to me). I've got 3K+ kills on him -- not a lot, but enough to know how most of the old BGs work. Arenas would be completely new to me, but I'd like a go at 'em. Mull it over and let me know what you think about a potential PvP spec. I need some idea before I start picking up gear.
I rolled Discco, my disc priest, because I left a nicely geared (and pretty good at PvP) disc priest back on my old server. D will run BGs at levels ending with 3-4 and 8-9 (and heal instances in between for quick leveling and gear). He just hit 15, went 3-0 in WSG this weekend and already has enough HPs to buy two of the three pieces of lvl 18 PvP gear. I see you're nurturing a baby warrior. Disc priest + arms/prot warrior = capital-W WIN.
