I went out and bought the Battle Chest today- I am really, really terrible, but I will probably show up to a WCIII meet soon to get victimized.

I won''t be able to make our next Monday session as my dad will be in town visiting the week of the 19th (this month is turning crazy on me).
If no one''s up for WC3 tonight, I''ll just do the UT2k4 thing instead.

Mondays don''t seem to be working out, judging from last week''s attendance, and the drift of everyone''s comments. I suggest moving the day.
I tried playing BF: V with gwj players last night and it was fun. Maybe it''s worth finding my WCIII disks and getting some wcIII action in tonight as well.
I wonder if there will be latency problems since i''m on the west coast.

The ability to play MP games with mature individuals who are typically right around my skill level has been one of the greatest things about finding GWJ.

I rescheduled the next Warcraft 3 Throwdown on April 15, that''s next Thursday, since there seems to be a big gaping hole in the calendar, and key players can''t make it Monday.

Poor Pulse... last night, he showed up and I got a call from a good friend of mine (long distance call). He was quite patient. Then, as I was finishing my call, I was getting really tired.
I was actually going to bail then, but no one else had showed up, and poor Pulse was sitting there jonesing for his Warcraft.

It does, however, seem to have some real light bandwidth requirements, since I can run bittorrent in the background, as well as ram optimizers, and other junk, while logged into battlenet.

Actually, a friend of mine in Texas only goes online via dialup, and he and I used to play a lot of Warcraft III and Starcraft. He never had lag problems in our 2-player games.

Agree, that''s the only reason i signed up for the game night. I have done my share of building other players win record on bnet.
Hey, if we get four of us next time, we can do a four-person free-for-all, or just do some 1-on-1 matches. Or even a team match among ourselves.
Ok, Certis put RS on the schedule for Thrusday, which got me to thinking that maybe going head to head with that might not be such a great idea.

BTW, how far did you get in the single player? I''m stuck on chapter 4 (The hordes on the undead), do you know how to get past it?
I''ll have to check which one that is; I was nearing the end of the Orc campaign when I had to reformat last fall, and hadn''t backed up my save. I''m only just now getting back to the game (it was discouraging to lose all that progress!)
