I can't count the reasons I should stay, One by one they all just fade away. Community S6! #andamovie

Second best Christmas thing Chevy Chase has ever been involved in.

Though really, probably the best insane Christmas special ever. Damn!

Jeff looks like Chucky for some reason.

I demand non-stop motion Annie in a ballerina outfit.

Screw the ballerina outfit.

Out of the two, that's not the one I'd like to screw.

Did we watch the same episode? I was hugely let down by the stop action episode. I was super excited for the idea and felt it had huge potential but for some reason found the execution of it to be surprisingly unfunny. It wasn't bad per se, but it was nowhere near what I was hoping it to be. It was the least funny episode of the season so far.

Wish I could find a picture of the remote for the pterodactyl they had (or similar). I want to print that out with a warning.

Their personae were so good. It was a fun conceit to have Pierce there at the end, and into it, because he was bored and lonely.

I'm glad Pierce stuck it out, I've been feeling sorry for him the last few shows. I really liked this episode; there is no TV show on right now that gets me more excited than Community.

This is Boogle we're talking about.

It had it's moments but overall I thought it was kind of boring.

Christmas Pterodactyl says you're wrong.

Curse you double meanings!

This should be trending on twitter, dammit. What the hell is that thing good for if not to spread pop culture?

They've been kicking the Community ladies' asses these last couple of episodes. Still, great episode IMHO.

"Troy and Abhed in stop moooootion!"

I found the stop motion a little off putting at the beginning, but by the end I was laughing out loud. How could you not laugh at Teddy Pierce walking around squeaking every time he took a step. The song Abed sings about Britta bot was so sad, but so great! And than of course Christmas Pterodactyl. Awesome!

Self destruct!

They captured Jeff's smugness well in the stop motion ep.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt bad for Britta-Bot. That tear rolled down her cheek and I shouted "Aw, sh*t, don't make her cry, too!"

I think it was Joel on Conan the other night, but whoever it was, one of the cast said the Pierce Bear was so realistic because Chevy squeaks when he walks too.

Wow, amazing episode. That was the best possible explanation for the end of Lost too.

Here's hoping you discovered the true meaning of Christmas today!

Spoiler:

Season one of Lost on DVD!

I've enjoyed discussing this season with you all, may we have as much fun with the rest of it in the spring.

The ensemble of NBC sitcom Community are going to toss some dice playing Dungeons & Dragons over the course of an upcoming episode.

Nerdgasm

Also Community apparently has some basis in reality. If not Jeff, definitely Chang. Recently heard about a former teacher that is now taking classes at the college they previously taught at when it was discovered said teacher didn't have a Bachelor's degree after all.

Jeff will obviously pick a Paladin
Troy will be a Barbarian
Annie will be an elf Cleric or possibly Ranger (race is key)
Pierce will be a Wizard (ghost-eating optional)
Britta, in keeping with Halloween tradition of being shapeless and adorable, will be a halfling or gnome Thief or Fighter
Shirley will be a "Cleric" (obviously fashioned in the Judeo-Christian tradition) or a Fighter

I can't wait!

So you're assuming Abed will be GM then? Makes sense.

D&D3:
Jeff will be a elven thief.
Troy will be a dwarven monk.
Annie will be an half-elf sorcerer(ess).
Britta will be a halfling druid.
Pierce will be a gnome bard.
Shirley will be a human cleric.
Chang, if he plays, will be a half-orc barbarian.

D&D4:
Jeff will be a elven rogue.
Troy will be a dragonborn warlord.
Annie will be an Eladrin wizard.
Britta will be a halfling paladin.
Pierce will be a gnome fighter.
Shirley will be a human cleric.
Chang, if he plays, will be a tiefling warlock.

I'm thinking that Shirley as a Paladin is at least as likely as her being a Cleric.

True.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner!

When he appeared on screen I yelled out Theo!

Fantastic episode.

I really hated Rich before, but it was fun to have him on again too.

Sober Duncan.

So much good stuff.

Troy and Abed in the morning!

Agreed. That was a great ep. Troy's investigative techniques particularly. And I didn't think I'd ever be envious of a character named "Fat Neil", but here we are. "MEZZANINE!?"

In the end, it was hilarious, but with heart. That's why I tune in.

Spoiler:

I thought Jeff was running to Slater at the end. Others apparently felt the joke was too much a parody, but I laughed damn hard.

I'm so glad Community is back. Great episode with a witty ending.

I wonder if Slater is ever going to show up again?
