I can't count the reasons I should stay, One by one they all just fade away. Community S6! #andamovie

Credits.

Anyone else find it odd how in first few episodes, they seemed very determined to downplay and move past the whole Jeff/Annie/Britta thing, and yet for the past couple weeks it keeps showing up again and again in the subtext, if not the actual text, of the episodes. Is it that the writers can't make up their minds? Is it a subtle commentary on how people tend to be attracted to the things right in front of them?

Also, I think that security guard bears an uncanny resemblance to Ken Levine.

By the time the last person gets shot, I was doubled over. Way to violate the traditional rule of three and just go OVER THE TOP. I kept expecting one more round after the other.

I read an interview in which Dan Harmon said the writers will put little moments in each show to see what kind of feedback they get from the viewers. They did this in the first season with the Jeff/Britta/Annie/Slater thing to find out how people felt about each potential relationship (the Jeff/Annie kiss at the debate apparently blew up forums all over the internet). Harmon said they stay four or five shows ahead of each episode, so they won't make drastic changes to the overall plot based on viewer feedback, but they will take it into account to make sure folks stay interested. So they may be testing the waters again. If I can find the link to that interview, I'll be sure to post it. Harmon also discussed this sort of thing at ComicCon (you can find that panel on the Community Hulu page).

I, for one, can't get enough of Annie. The scene where Britta just appears in the harem-esque part of the pillow fort was really funny too.

Edit: Found it! SpacePPoliceman linked to it earlier in the thread. For your viewing pleasure.

Me either. For several reasons

Annie rolling around on the floor yelling about blowing things off might have been the greatest moment in television history.

I was a little worried the success of the 1st season was going to be hard to maintain, but my god this episode was fantastic. Some of the best story telling on TV right now.

Another great episode. The writers are doing an excellent job of mixing it up, keeping things interesting and, most importantly, making me laugh. If Community gets dropped and dreg like 2½ Men continues on, I'll lose my mind.

I always want to hate 2 1/2 men but I find that I don't. I don't watch it because i think its funny and i hate that I think its funny. Does that make sense?

Not really. If you enjoy it, why not watch it? There's nothing wrong with having a "guilty pleasure."

I don't watch it because I tried a few episodes in syndication and didn't find it funny, BUT I freely admit to enjoying shows like YES, DEAR. Different strokes for different folks, as they say.

Its just I can't stand Charlie Sheen and don't want to contribute to any of his work really. Pretty dumb of me now that I say it out loud.

Charlie Sheen certainly seems worthy of your contempt. I've enjoyed some of his work but, from the best I can tell, he's a lousy human being.

And I didn't mean to call anyone out if they enjoy that wretched show I have plenty of my own guilty pleasures. In my own little world, I view 2½ Men as the absolute lowest bar. But I accept others' scales will vary, and for good reasons.

Point is, Community rocks. I hope it has a long and prosperous run. Long live Community!

Like what you like, hate what you hate. Runs both ways. It sounds like Sheen's show makes you hate yourself, which says you don't enjoy it to me.

Outsourced remains my lowest bar. Blah blah blah, not that bad. But it is that bad. Outsourced is the fingernails across the chalkboard of my brain.

Ah, you got me just like that. I know Outsourced is garbage but sometimes I can't stop myself from clicking on it in Hulu. The reason I'd put that slightly higher than 2½ Men on my scale is Rebecca Hazlewood.

I can't think of any other show I watch that stars a gorgeous Indian women. So if they'd just replace Outsourced with a 5 minute montage of Asha's scenes from that week, it'd be an infinitely better show.

She really is so very very lovely.

Boooo, Outsourced angst :).

I fully expected to hate the show, but find it very enjoyable. It has cringe-y moments sure, but more often than not it's genuinely amusing. I like the diversity (ie not set in the US and more racially diverse than 90% of the sitcoms out there) and clash of cultures. Though I really do wish the business was something other than a mail order novelty company.

Yes indeed. And Pippa Black, the Aussie, is quite easy on the eyes as well.

Different strokes though, personally I can't stand reality television, any of it, but as the Neilson's prove, I'm sadly in the minority.

Nails across the chalkboard of my brain. It angered me how not funny I found it. Anyways.

There's a better look at the characters:

I. Love. This. Show.

Abed's talking Farscape, my head is exploding from awesome! Scorpius name-dropped on NBC, it's beautiful!

Great ep, and a sweet ending (sweet like Awwww, not sweet like suh-WEEEEET!).

Last Starfighter.

So many good things tonight. Can't wait for holiday ep.

Troy lied, I for one love that tattletale.

That was a wonderfully strange episode of Community.

Really enjoyed that one. The character arcs of both Annie and Shirley in this one were pretty brutal though.

It's on tonight! Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas!

30-sec teaser

Bunch more behind-the-scenes looks at the NBC site.

Wow.

This might be my favorite current show now. That was fantastic.

It is my favorite.

Their personae were so good. It was a fun conceit to have Pierce there at the end, and into it, because he was bored and lonely.

Christmas Pterodactyl!

Amazing.

That was unbelievably amazing.
